THE RESTAURANTEspecially for our guests we have prepared two rooms which, considering their medieval interiors, will capture attention and amaze even the most choosy guests. Individual guests are welcome to visit us for dinner, supper, snacks or any kinds of drinks. Groups, apart from the above, can also enjoy friendly reunions at the sounds of folk music or a band.THE INN “U HOCHOŁA” – is a spacious room which can accommodate 75 guests, it amazes visitors with its specific climate and atmosphere. Our guests may enjoy traditional Polish cuisine sitting at large marble tables on wooden benches – for bigger families (4-6 persons) and groups (8-17 persons), as well as at 2-3 persons wooden tables for single visitors.Candlelight from candles decorating each table and a big candelabra on the main table for 17 persons, combined with folk music and a large fire-grill in the central part of the restaurant, create an unforgettable atmosphere. The Inn welcomes especially the fans of: ribs in stewed cabbage shashlik –the chef’s specialty prepared of three kinds of meat sirloin of beef rolled in bacon served with cranberries chicken collar served in pepper sauce roasted or cooked pig’s leg a bowl of fried ‘pierogi’ with various stuffing and many other dishes!
Dear Foreigner, if you are around Szklarska Poreba and you want to experience Polish cuisine of good quality - this is the place to go. Interior sets the stage and makes the right initial impression for the food to be served. Taste "oscypki" for starter (grilled local cheese with cranberries), mushroom soup and for the main course "pierogi" or anything made of beef. As a local Polish I put my finger stamp and I promise that you will experience good quality real Polish food for reasonable prices :-) Enjoy!

In our top class Restaurant of Palace Pakoszow you can enjoy gourmet menu (including regional menu and Haute Cuisine) and rich selection of best beverages served by our professional and friendly staff. Cosy banquet rooms, including a lounge adorned with original 19th-century Italian crystal chandelier from Murano, invite to enjoy stylish, intimate parties - maximum capacity of 24 guests. ....In the meantime your kids may unwind in a children's play-room....... Historic Baroque Room, the highlight of our Palace, hosts important ceremonies, Concerts, shows and Exhibitions. It is an inspiring trip back to the 19.C. - With touch of timeless classics and elegance. Chopin Bar by the fireplace is a cosy place for a drink or mulled wine, however in summer the terraces are open where one can admire beautiful view at the Karkonosze Mountains. The range of function rooms, professional staff and excellent cuisine make this place highly recommended for our guests for the whole season.
We ate in Palace Pakoszow restaurant a few times in May 2014 and then in August 2014 and ALWAYS the food was delicious.
Even the "simple" BBQ prepared by Restaurant's chef surprised us with quality, tastes and invention.
My favourites from Palace's menu are: the duck (piers z kaczki Barberie z soczewica) and the potato-leak soup! Amazing. And, as a must - seromakowiec for a dessert (cheese and poppy seed cake).
Przepyszne!

Jedzenie smaczne. Jeśli ktoś lubi dziczyznę, powinien odwiedzić to miejsce. Można tu też kupić wyroby mięsne (smalec, wędliny) oraz świeży chleb. Ceny przystępne. Na końcu karty jest informacja o alergenach. Dla mnie idealnie! Polecam!

This is a restaurant in newly built 4 star hotel in Szklarska Poreba. Actually it was the best eating experience during our one week stay in Szklarska Poreba. The restaurant is a bit hidden, from the street you first enter the coffeehouse, and the restaurant is in the next room. The food is delicious, inventive and very tasty. I took for appetizer figs stuffed with goat cheese, there were great. For main dish I took stuffed quail, it was gorgeous. The service is quiet and efficient. Place definitely worth trying.

TEMPORARILY CLOSED<br>Our preferred Coffeehouses during our one week stay in Szklarska Poręba. First of all coffee there is excellent, espresso is really good. Second, they have excellent offer of freshly made cookies and desserts, all of them very tasty. Usually followed the waitress’ recommendation, and we were always satisfied. The service is quick and efficient.
Excellent place, super friendly staff, really cozy and comfortable decor with lots of candles at night...the hot chocolate is one of the best I have ever had and the food was absolutely superb ! Fresh and tasty food for very low prices, very well done ! excellent job !

Food good, but nothing specials, quite cheap food. Too many people and not enough staff. Good place for family dinner, but is much more places in Szklarska Poreba on higher standards. Nice karmelowka to taste after dinner.

We ordered grilled chicken and grilled pork - portions were big enough after long day without warm food. Quite tasty but not for 5/5. So here's 4/5 :) I don't recommend special "kaprys" black tea with fruits - standard tea or coffee would be a better choice.

The quality of the food and desserts here is excellent for a quick along the way meal. Ideal place on a sunny summers day with a fantastic sun Terrace. Bit pricy - speed of service fails when all the tables are occupied but that's typical in Poland yet quality is worh waiting for.

Definitely a place worth visiting. Nice, cozy interior, friendly service, tasty food (pancakes, crepes, muffins, etc), coffee, tea and hot chocolate (real!). Good location, too. Worth popping in for a snack to warm up after a brisk walk.
