I had called ahead and made Reservations as it was a special celebration. We started with a cheese plate and a salad and shared both. The bacon and dressing on the salad was delicious. I was hoping the cheese plate was local; however they were not, but were nice. I had the tourtier and my friend had the braised pork cheeks. Both were delicious. They had the local beers on tap which were very good. They served a complimentary ice cream at it was a birthday celebration. Service was attentive.

portabella is a CASUAL restaurant in Picton. portabella offers everything from burgers to pickerel and pasta, portabella is not a fine dining restaurant but somewhere to get a good lunch or dinner at a reasonable price.
Stopped here for lunch today, and what a delight!
Cozy atmosphere, friendly happy service. Lunch menu had just enough of a twist to make it their own style.
Prices on par with many other establishments.
What a lovely find a snowstorm on a Saturday!! I’ll be back for sure!

Experience inspired County Bistro cuisine in an inviting and intimate setting. Chef Michael Sullivan combines his vast Toronto experience with his passion to feature the best of Prince Edward County The wine list comprises a representation of both fine wines of The County, international vintages, local beer, cider and spirits Seasonal outdoor dining is also available
We stayed at the Merrill Inn for two nights and enjoyed a spectacular dinner in their restaurant. The chef and kitchen staff are highly talented and our dinner was second to none. It was nouvelle cuisine at its finest. My husband ordered the Hot Smoked...MoreThank you so much for joining us and we're happy to hear that you had such a great dinner. We have passed along your compliments to our culinary team and our service staff

showing visitors to the County the wineries, Breweries, cheese and vegetable producers and the cidery
Under chef-owner Ivan Williams, the Milford Bistro is again the place to go in the County for welcoming warm greetings in a romantic spot with superb attractively priced creative cookery from a passionate chef. Worth a detour, as Michelin would say. The chef cares so much about your experience he sat down with us following the meal to ask our opinions. Sam the server helped us through ordering local beers and wine, including Lighthall sparkling rosé and Grange Cab Franc, a personal favourite. We had a beautifully composed spinach/walnuts salad with Boursin and to die for house made potato coins or chips with aioli for starters and local lamb sausage and garlic mash and a veggie curry with a chicken addition that was also well spiced not just tossed on top. There was house-made flatbread and apple crumble with local berries. In our years of visiting the County it's been one of top places to visit but previous owners didn't get off the ground; now Ivan has and it's taking off soon to take very proud flight. We will go a second time on our stay here.

7 friends & I decided to have lunch together while the weather was still good. I had missed the opportunity after the Remembrance Day service, something one of the friends & I usually did. So we had a reserved table, the service was great, the food yummy and the companionship was good too. I had the usual steak on a bun and instead of the chips that came with it I decided to pay a little more and have the composed salad. That composed salad is really tasty so I really enjoyed it. The portion is large so I got a take out box and took it home to have it for lunch the next day. I really love lunch at the Acoustic Grill, it's always good.

Sunday evening meal with friend. Quickly seated (able to choose location in D.R.) Extensive selection of local wines. Fish chowder was a dream from Heaven! Delicious, each component cooked exactly till done. Wiener schnitzel was crispy on the outside; meat well cooked. Dessert was wonderful. Sorry, no pix, too engrossed in the wonderful food!

Located just below the winery, nestled amongst the vines, overlooking the lake is the Gazebo Restaurant. The Gazebo Restaurant offers an open air patio or climate controlled dining room, full service bar, fresh, locally sourced ingredients and professional service. Our Chef will be happy to create special dishes for those with allergy considerations. The Gazebo Restaurant also offers full service catering for your party, wedding or special event.
We had lunch on a busy afternoon. Very friendly and efficient service. Some interesting choices for lunch. We chose a red and wine wines from the winery. Then we took the glasses walked around the grounds and sat down by the lake in the shade. Tough way to spend an afternoon

Coffee Shop And Book Store
I was in town visiting and was looking for a gluten free dessert and thankfully Miss Lilly's had a nice selection of options. I chose 3 slices of apple cake. It tasted very good. A but pricey at $5 a slice, but otherwise a pleasant experience.

Over twenty years of visits we always enjoy stopping at County Cider at Waupoos, and this weekend was no exception. We had a delightful server, Lindsay, who helped us pick the right ciders to enjoy on their scenic patio overlooking the vineyards, orchards and the beautiful water view down the hill. We also tasted a few ciders in the tasting room and bought some to take home. Hubby liked the County Cider and I like the Peach County Cider. If we hadn't just eaten we would have tried their enticing charcuterie platter. Next time....

This is a cute little place for a coffee/espresso and/or a meal if you are hungry for something heavier than dessert.
The offer soup, sandwiches, cupcakes, cheese cakes, quiche and many many more items. I was surprised to see items like falafel!
The cupcakes we ate tasted like home made.
We will return here on our next trip to Prince Edward County.
