Went twice Just after mid day. Had suckling pig one day and pork loins in cabbage the other. The food is very good and provides value for money but, and this is a big but, both meals were not freshly cooked. The food came too quick for that. Also both meals were warm at best, not hot, and had cold spots in them; symptomatic of microwave reheats. Such a shame as the venue was full of character and the underlying food was tasty. Also far too much salt in the pork/ cabbage but I guess that is personal taste. Maybe it's better later in the evening??

Came here further to guide book reviews. Place well situated in the lovely mallorcan town of Petra. We ate inside but could have eaten in the square outside. Geared up for cycling groups. Lovely old mallorcan manor house. Simple local food and nice wine/beer. The lady who served us in fairness had a lot of tables to cover that day so things were very slow. Tasty food.

reizendes Restaurant
Having just lunched at the Ca n'Orms, I can only say what a pleasant experience was had by all, with great food, great value, especially as this was a fixed price special! I really can't remember having such a nice lunch for such a small cost! Just because this meal was to be had for such a reasonable cost 10€ don't be fooled into the usual low grade expectation. For my 10€ I was provided with a drink of my choice (small beer), the tastiest olives I've experienced this holiday, supported by gorgeous bread & garlic dip. A choice of grilled pork, steak, grilled fish or grilled chicken breast. This came with fresh salad & pomme Frits. To finish a coffee of your choice. The menu sounds modest but the quality was exceptional. The restaurant is an eclectic mix, having a splash of modern with an arty influence including a twist of rustic. All very tasteful. At the weekend there's even live acoustic music in the garden to the rear. The staff are extremely friendly, you can just tell they really care about their business. I Heartily recommend this excellent establishment. My wife, our friend & myself all chose different dishes chicken, fish & steak, all equally excellent. Yes, we would return! Thanks for a great meal.

Ca na Miquela has a nice inland atmosphere.
There you realize how life is in a small Mallorca village. With the Guardia Civil, the inhabitants, the sunday cyclists, the hunters and some lost tourist having breakfast.
The place is very popular especially in the morning and midday.
Some of the dishes are traditional Mallorca food.
Also serve mussels, paella, veal steak, and so on for lunch. Or a chep priceworth menu.
But for breakfast I suggest: "frit, frit de matances or callos" (tripe). If you don't dare with those dishes then you must try the "pa amb oli" which is at your choice:
with lamb chops, salt code, ham, cheese, omelette...
Helpful owner. Nice parking. The restaurant is easy to find.
Maybe a bit expensive comparing with the nearby Restaurant Es Cruce.

We had spent the day trying to get away from the usual Mallorcan tourist trail and found this tapas bar by chance. It's situated in the town square of a very pretty village. It's modern and well decorated inside (with modern and clean bathrooms) but we chose to sit in the town square so we could enjoy the sun. The menu is all in Spanish which we were happy about as we were trying to find somewhere that didn't have a menu in every European language. We ordered a couple of coffees and 3 tapas to share between us. The owner was very friendly (despite our language barrier) and the food arrived promptly. It was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Prawns in panko breadcrumbs, jalapeños with cheese in breadcrumbs and fries with padre peppers. Our total bill came to around €18 which was incredibly reasonable. We will definitely go back there if we're in Mallorca again.

Just had a lovely meal at this gorgeous find. Worth a short drive to get away from the tourist hotspots. A proper local restaurant with such a relaxed atmosphere you are told the days selection to choose from rather than a menu. (Note: open daily apart from Monday)

The chips (French Fries) were nice but the chicken Sandwich (served on toast for some reason) looked unappetising, and the olive bread tapas were served on stale bread. The menu is very basic.
The coffees were fine and overall it isn't expensive. Loads of cyclists visit the bike clothing shop across the square.

We visited outside the main tourist season, and it was difficult to find nice restaurants with fresh food and some other people. This restaurant proved to be different, the food was good and not expensive, there were lots of locals and a nice atmosphere. Definitively recommendable!

Stopped here for breakfast on our way to the market at Sineu. It's a good little cafe that serves good value food. Really nice Pa amb oli and very good prices. The coffee was particularly good.
Don't go out of your way for a visit but if you're passing don't be afraid to stop - you won't be disappointed.
