We have visited this restaurant during the Dine Athens event, few days ago, with great expectations, but we ended up disappointed from the whole course. The majority of the served plates didn't have a "successful" ingredient combination, so we unpleasantly finished them... We have noticed that we weren't the only ones... However, the technique was obviously there in any other terms. As I haven't taste any other recipe of the restaurant I can't rate it with 2 (as probably deserved), but with 3.

Archetypal greek taverna. Not super elegant (and smokers - and cats - abound; more a fan of the latter than the former) but clean, good service and excellent value for money. Ate here a couple of times before the Marathon this year but couldn't walk all that way afterwards :) Whatever you order, they always add a fruit plate and Greek doughnuts at the end of your meal.

Genuinely amazed at how this restaurant has such good reviews...The food is fast food quality. Pizzas where same as the ones you would buy in supermarkets plus some extra toppings and very small (for one). Needless to say, way overpriced. Indifferent staff. We Will not revisit.

Amazing tasting experiences with top sea food choices. A restaurant with long-term history and always fresh fish. Quite expensive I could say but worth visiting.

This small café/restaurant was close to our Hotel and we ate here twice during our stay in Athens. Good Greek food was excellent value for money and very tasty. Service was excellent. Don't expect upmarket. It's a cosy cafeteria/pizzeria but well worth seeking out. Definitely recommended.

Alpino Cucina Italiana welcomes you to an aesthetic atmosphere. Enjoy unique Italian recipes, handmade pasta, amazing pizza and other tasty dishes in order to visit our restaurant.
My wife’s putaneska a school boy would have succeed better , the stake of our friend was for a dog, my Neapolitain was only as a name and the spaghetti over boiled. The grated cheese was smoothing we could not determine and the worse three of us had ‘intestinal problems’ and the next day.

Palia Fava is a traditional Greek Tavern which is located in Palaio Faliro of Athens. It is a family business of Mother Dina , Father Dimitris and son John , so it feels like home with well cooked meals and low prices. Miss Dina has many years of experience in cooking and her biggest goal is to satisfy all customers and try to present them the way a meal and some wine change our mood and make our life better. Most of the ingredients of our cuisine like wine, vinegar, tomatoes, eggplants, rocket, potatoes and fava are produced by son John and Father Dimitris in Santorini Island. Palia Fava has been awarded twice with the Best Greek Tavern Award for 2014 by CosmopolisFinezza and Mission:Life and Style.
Really excellent place. Visited by group of people and the had best food ever.
Restaurant is located in nice silent place. Only Greeks inside. Owner welcomed us, put a wine on the table. Starters - aubergines, octopus and sardines - just very good. Main dishes - beef, lamb, octopus and veal - top level of any cousine, really one of best food we ever had. For the dessert we received "fava" - grapes in sugar syrop with sour cream - the best sweet I ever had.
Must eat there!!!!!!!!

This restaurant does not observe the law, and allows free smoking all over the premisses.
This is a large faceless restaurant, not a traditional taverna. The service was deplorable and the food being average at best - at least during our visit.
There is no excuse for bad service even on a special day (Good Friday) - the place was not nearly full yet still the service disorganized, slow and waiters unsmiling and unprofessional.
Food was in accordance with this special day's menu (seafood) but average, with the shrimp spaghetti being totally inedible (tasteless, spaghetti cooked for at least 20 minutes...)
Cigarette smoke present throughout, despite the law which neither the management nor the smokers (clients) follow.
Cost was c. 25 euros per person including a bottle of wine.
Never to visit again, not recommended. There are far better places to eat down the road.

I don't know where to begin :) the food was delicious, local cosine with top quality. Try the house gyros, it's really great. The owner was very pleasant, friendly and helpful... It's the small things that count, for example, they've brought us a new frosted glass with every beer and many more things like that. When we asked where the nearest shop was, they themselves sent someone to buy the things we needed... Really appreciate it...
