We were on our way to Gdansk. We stop there with 2 families with small (4 months and 1 year) infants. You are welcome with pushchair. Discreet breastfeeding is also possible as there are numerous boxes. We went for regular pork chop, fish, soup and we were all content with the amount and the taste. Do not expect extraordinary experience but everything was fresh. The toilets could be a bit more clean but in the lowe room there was a second day of wedding party.

We visited the place for cocktails! The cocktails were amazing, the view was amazing, the environment is very good, however the service is poor! We were waiting around for ever so long, and the staff gave an impression as if they were unsatisfied to be at work!

Nice location, at the end of the lake Promenade, tucked away in a corner, we happened upon this gem. First of all, I have got to say the value is insane, we dinned on two nights, both times, the bill was under €20 ( wine, soft drinks, pizza's, sides, and desserts). This place is so good, that we drove off in our motorhome, and decided after about 40kms, that we just have to go back depsite the 80km round trip.
The menu is in English and the restaurant is comfortable with nice decor, the service is also good but what you have got to go here for is the pizza. Hats off to the chef, these are the best pizza's we have ever tasted, we didn't try anything else on the menu on our second visit as we couldn't resist the pizza. The quality was top notch, excellent flavors, fresh, and if there is a big eater ( like my husband) they wont be disappointed.
This place was full of locals which is generally a good sign of consistent quality, so if you are in Ostroda, you just have got to go here.
Every town deserves a restaurant this good !!!!!

We were traveling to Gdansk and stopped here for lunch. We enjoyed the food throughout Poland, but this place was our favorite! We ordered many things and shared, everything was wonderful melt in mouth delicious. Serving staff very friendly and helpful (also spoke English very well) The decor was comfortable and charming.
We still talk about this place! Budget friendly too.

Old WaterMill looking good inside as outside. We have ordered food recommend by best chef but it wasn't what we expected and it was quite expensive. It is worth checking but I will avoid it next time. Even though service was good we didn't feel comfortable and it was chilly inside so food went cold fast. I noticed billboard recently and they offer Polish Lamb. Perhaps some good changes, worth checking again?

Trattoria La Riva is located in Willa Port and SPA hotel in Ostróda. The restaurant offers a selection of Italian cuisine from different regions of Italy and good selection of vines.. Food is very good, very nicely served. Pizza was very good, and homemade icecreams were delicious. Also the interior of the restaurant is very nice and beautifully designed. Several outdoor tables offers beautiful view on Drwęckie Lake. Why 4 points and not 5?
Outdoor tables clothes were dirty and sticky, and a beautiful waitress ignored us 30 minutes after we had came. Only few tables were busy and there were 3 waiters for service. The magic of this place slightly disapeard in the lake.

We had a nice dinner at this place. Nice view of the lake. Very nice fried cheese with big homemade fried potatoes. Big portions.
We also tried a steak tartar and something like goulash.
Quite nice housewine and Czech beer.
My glass wasn't very clean when they brought a wine for me (there was still some finger prints or kind of lip prints on it) but it was the only one complaint about this place.

Rudimentary furnishings with some Chinese accents - poor invite to sit in (BTW, they offer takeaway, as well). Looks like a cheap eatery with two gambling machines - might just as well be a pizzeria or a bar. I tried spring rolls, spicy & sour soup, Gu La Rou crispy pork and Szechuan beef. Jasmine tea to drink. My tummy was pretty happy, yet overall I was anxious to leave the place. Would not revisit but might grab a bite for the go.
