This family run restaurant has been around 17 years and really serves up a good meal. Menus in a few languages. Incredibly friendly people. Food excellent, service great. Over a few nights sampled most of the menu and everything was nice, loved starter baby octopus chowder and sword fish mains. Prices are very reasonable. If in the area and you get a chance, go for a meal- you won't regret it!

I've been here following a local friend recommendation and everything reflected the expectations. The restaurant is very nice, the food is absolutely delicious, and the service is outstanding: the staff is super efficient, professional and friendly.
I definitely recommend the Carbonara di mare with tuna, bottarga, zucchini and eggs: just delicious! My spaghetti with arselle were fantastic as well! Well done to the owner Marta and her team!

We revisited this agriturismo after our first visit two years ago, and were delighted by the consistent quality. Seasonal produce, with star billing for the sweetest ricotta of spring, made for a great, relaxed evening meal, which also included very good prosciutto, vegetables, wild asparagus fritters, and perfectly cooked lamb and pork. Be sure to book ahead; four visitors who came in were reluctantly turned away. Sardinians are noted for their warm hospitality, but the proprietors explained to us that they could not serve them because they prepare everything carefully: if you book for 8.30pm for nine people, as we did, the food will be on your table at that time. It was; and it was varied and delicious. A special mention for the dessert of seadas made with ricotta filling, and not the usual cheese filling - delightful, light, indeed one of our group who does not like goat's milk products tried one, pronounced it exquisite (it did not taste "goaty"), and promptly asked for and was cheerfully served a second. Donato and Francesca guide this family business, from cooking to serving, and all present at our table enjoyed this meal, very much indeed.

We truly enjoyed eating here. A professional run, traditional, well maintained and clean restaurant, linked to hotel Tirreno opposite. Great sheltered Terrace overlooking the beach, very helpful and friendly staff. Good menu, lots of shellfish dishes, daily changing specials. Food is of a good quality, freshly prepared. Most guests seemed to be Italian. Child-friendly. Good house wines, nice wine list. If you want a table on the Terrace, then a reservation is strongly advised. Recommended.

We were looking for a place to eat close to our hotel, late on a Sunday night. We ordered 2 pizzas which were to an excellent standard. The staff were lovely, very friendly and spoke pretty good English. The service was fast and reasonably priced with pizzas under £10. The food was so good we ate here again the next night. I would recommend the sausage pizza.

BOOK. NOW. And skip lunch on the day you go, because this is the real deal Sardinian food experience set with a panoramic view married with a casual outdoor setting that hints at the island's Spanish connections.
First course is antipasto and it is huge! Meats, vegetables, cheeses, bread, and more. I could have stopped there it was so generous is selection and size.
But then came two kinds of pasta - ours was a ravioli and gnocchi.
And finally, pig on the spit (and you see the full pig come in!) with a large lettuce and tomato salad.
The meal includes a pitcher of chilled red wine and bottled water for the set price of 28 euro a head. Desert is optional extra (and if you can fit it in you're a gastronomic king or queen!).
The staff are all divine and warm. Only one waiter spoke English but it didn't matter - in fact after coming from Rome, I loved being in a truly authentic Italian restaurant.
Note this is a set menu venue and all seatings start together at 8.30pm. Parking is easy and on site. Bookings essential (although our booking was stuffed up by our hotel and they set a new table for us anyway which was kind).

Belo Horizonte is a friendly restaurant set on the most beautifull and suggestive Terrace of Orosei. From lunch to dinner at Belo Horizonte you can come and relax watching the magnificent view, sipping your favourite drink and teasting one of our international specialities.
We visited on our last night in Orosai and found it a good choice for a farewell meal. Staff very friendly with good humour and banter. Spinach and ricotta ravioli was superb, followed by the pistachio crusted lamb chops-highly recommended. The outdoor Terrace has stunning views over the surrounding area, a little windy at the time but a very enjoyable time none the less.
I strongly advise a visit!

This restaurant is part of the "Albergo diffuso Manois" hotel. It is located on a roof Terrace in the old town. The setting is beautiful as can look out over the town to the Mountains and sea beyond. However, the view is not the only good thing. The food and atmosphere was second to none. Cannot fault the service or the food. And to sit on the Terrace and just watch the sun go down was great.
Also, if you are a guest in the hotel, you can just stick the bill on your room.
This place should be number one in orosei, by a long way. Would recommend, and would go back
