The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. They have Chilean - German specialties and brew their own beer (Sessler Beer). If you want a typical Chilean dish, I would recommend their “Pastel de Choclo” or if you want something with more meat, it could be their “Parrillada Chilena”. They also have a guesthouse, where I stayed for a couple of days and it was a very nice experience.

The large servings do not make up for the terrible quality of the meat. The salads were of questionable origin. (Were they even washed??) Completely full of people, service extremely slow. Overpriced. Overrated.

This is an almost open air restaurant. I ordered a lamb leg and they literally gave me a giant lamb leg with a couple of tomato slices under it. However, the leg was over cooked and there was almost 90% bone.
My cousins ordered other dishes and they were satisfied. Pastel de choclo seems to be very good. From 1 dish can eat 2 adults or 4 children !!
Prices are ok.

En una pasada por Olmué decimos almorzar en este local ubicado frente a la plaza por av colegio. La atención es rápida, los precios están dentro de lo normal. Te sirven pancito, pebre y mayonesa para esperar tu plato. La comida es abundante y bien rica. El local es bien pintoresco, lo recomiendo. Nos gustó mucho!

Looking for GREAT food, friendly owner and easy communication while traveling in the quiet, countryside town of Olmue? Then look no further than La Bota!
Our party of 5 enjoyed everything we ate (and drank).
From Pisco Sours and fresh, fruit juices, to pasta and quiche...everything was fresh, fast and delicious. Even the warm, garlic bread was the best.
We enjoyed our meal soooo much, we retuned the next morning for breakfast crepes - both sweet and savory.
Don't forget to try the homemade dessert and coffees also!

Had a great traditional Chilean meal Casuela and traditional salad fantastic!!! The place has a easy going feel with lots of outdoor Seating right at the plaza. The owner also helps with local information and lunch packs if u heading out for the day.

I spent an unforgettable evening with my chilean wife celebrating our anniversary at this rustic yet refined restaurant. The restaurant runned by a young couple manages to combine the local cuisine de campo with more innovative and advanced culinary touches at very reasonable prices in pleasant surroundings including excellent views of cordillera de la costa.
They had both classical dishes such as pastel de choclo as well as various fresh fish and homemade pasta dishes. My wife is vegetarian and the vegetarian options were also good. Add to all this an excellent service and a very relaxed atmosphere and you have the perfect restaurant for a memorable dinner.
We paid around 40 dollars for 5 dishes.
The restaurant is definitely up there with the best restaurants of Valparaiso and a better option than the zones famous No me olvides if you prefer quality over quantity.

Un restobar con una propuesta interesante muy atractivo durante la noche por su sutil y cuidada iluminacion, ( no asi durante el dia )pero lo primero es lo primero , buenos tragos, al parecer preparados con buenos licores e ingredientes de buena calidad, variedad, rapidez y buena presentación, las tablas y preparaciones para picar , buenas aunque simples y menos creativas que los tragos, detalles fáciles de corregir recomendable de todas maneras.

Only have pizza and choice of 4 puddings. Lovely base to pizza, service was friendly but a bit on the slow side.
