While staying in Recoleta, we had relatives take us to El Candado, as they live near the restaurant. Even though they took us home afterwards, we had taken a taxi(160 pesos) to get there, as they work into the early evening. Located in the Martinez/San Isidro area with parking on the streets. It's assisted by a local older gentleman, who was tipped afterwards. Everyone was ordering Italian, so we did also. I had chichen/spinach Ravioli(105 pesos), while my wife had Chicken Risotto with almond/peas(105 pesos). It was completely full, so thank goodness we had Reservations. The waiters were hopping all evening. Definitely a local crowd. We shared a flan afterwards. We both enjoyed our meals. If in the area, would definitely return. But wouldn't suggest a trip there from the city, for sole purpose of visiting the restaurant.

Great service and atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor Seating. A very interesting, modern menu with plenty of fusion dishes with unique seasonings. Each person at the table ordered something different and all the dishes were great. Be warned, portions are big.

Lovely restaurant! Food absolutely excellent however MASSIVE portions! In a nice location with parking nearby. Really nice place to dine with the family however only served wine and soft drinks when we visited so some of the group were a little disappointed.

A small menu offers a number of delicious options from an international cuisine with excellent Argentinian wines in a nice setting. A great alternative from those tired of ojo de bife. Highly recommended; will definitely return.

One of the most famous restaurants in the neighborhood. Has been there forever. Pizzas with think dough and tons of cheese. Super large milanesas (beef escalope, breaded) over backed with ur choice of ingredients and cheese.
Not the healthiest choice, but a must on a trip to olivos.
I felt this time some of the ingredients where not as fresh as usual.
The service crew is there forever... :)

If you are lucky to get a table across the street is a very nice place to enjoy a conversation and eat. Not pricy and a very wide menu to satisfy unless you are very sophisticated. (incidentally the confiteria is said to have the best croissants in town)

Good solid made-from-scratch food, family-friendly loud environment. Affordable - less than USD 100 for a party of 6, with wine. Portions are huge! Half-portions are enough to share.

Vintage café ideal for breakfast, lunch, brunch, tea. we're open from 8 to 20. We've got a nice garden with a garden cascade, and palm trees, beautifully decorated. We've got piano Concerts tuesdays and thursdays from 4 pm to 6 pm. We have a great variety of cakes, macarons, scons, etc.

This is a really nice place for the girls to meet..and have afternoon tea..
I wanted to finish my coffee and run away asap...
It is nice and the food is great...but it is just too girly...for my liking.
My wife loves to meet up with her friends and they enjoy it!!!
