Long standing restaurant with the owners still attending the tables!! Courteous service, adapted to our requests for our toddler, food was great, hadn't been there in 5 years and still a safe bet in Nyon as I went frequently when I was younger and through the years. Choices of food are good and varied. Packed always, recommend to reserve.

We were a group of 7 and 4 were squeezed on a bench that was plated for 3. Soon after it got very busy and very loud as there are many tables. Service was okay, there was a lack of communication between the two waitresses and it seems that they were overwhelmed. The food was okay, nothing out of this world. But the location is good and you have a nice view of the lake depending on where you are sitting.

We have been for lunch obvious factoring in some time pressure. With the lunch buffet this is not a problem: there is sufficient choice, plenty in quantity and for the price/speed the food is really good.
Have to admit haven't been for dinner (yet) but can certainly recommend it for a lunch in Nyon.

I had the great pleasure of eating here again this visit to Nyon. I love this place!! Great service and atmosphere - but even better food. The mixed salad; the crayfish and guacamole; the mussels and the perch - all shared with a colleague - one of the best meals I have had in a long long time. So good! Do visit.

Having been there many times, we consider that this is a solid choice in Nyon for lunch, dinner or Saturday branch.
All plates of the-short menu-are interesting and well prepared. Service is effective and friendly and the inside of the restaurant is particularly cosy in winter. The resto is not cheep.
What we like to see is the menu to change more frequently and follow the seasons.

A fantastic choice of flavours for both icecreams and sorbets. Every season, new creations are added. I think I've tried every one of them and still have a hard time making up my mind which ones to sample! Always end up taking two scoops...
Prices are average, scoops a good size. Service - especially when they know you - is usually very good. However, on a hot summer's day, especially when hords of tourists come off the boat from the nearby lake, there can be quite a queue. Even 5 employees have a hard time serving everybody and may get a little flustered...
For those visiting Rolle, there is a smaller Venezia shop opposite the castle, on the main road.

Picture the scene: a small (very) village 25 minutes away from the small(ish) city of Geneva where you eat better quality cuisine than in any of the global metropolis, made with fresh and flavourful ingredients in season, served with a smile. The watermelon gaspacho special is stunning and the tuna tartare, consisting of large-ish pieces which you eat with a knife and fork, will stay in my taste buds for a long time. That's it, I must move there...

Good (authentic) Indian food is not easy to find in the area... until you come to this place. We celebrated a birthday and were unable to make up our mind on what to eat. The waiter suggested a variety of different dishes and so we decided to order duck, beef, lamb, chicken and shrimp. When the food arrived, there was instant happiness all around. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted fabulous. And the dessert (Mango Cheese Cake) was simply out of this world. Service was excellent and the price was well worth the generous meal. We'll be back... often!

I could easily have repeated my (earlier) praise many more times; great pizza, first-rate service, nice setting, reasonable prices... with special commendations for the friendly Direttore; Franco. Always good-humoured, he ran the place smoothly and efficiently. But now, Franco is no longer there and things just aren't the same any more. The atmosphere is bland and boring, the service is hectic, and the food/wine no longer taste as good. Please, Franco, come back quickly. Customers miss you!

We recently tried the Auberge Communale de Prangins being regulars at the Union in Crans-près-Céligny (same owners).
We had an excellent meal from starters to desert. It being venison season we had the noisette de chevreuil which was very good.
A bit pricey, but all in all worth it.
Staff are friendly and efficient.
