Dijk9 was a nice experience. Due to the beautiful weather, we ate outside on the Terrace. The service was very good. We decided to skip the gastromenu and instead ordered al a carte; though it appeared everyone around us was eating from the gastromenu (to...MoreHello Steven, Thank you very much for your feedback and recommendation. Definitely one of the best places in Eindhoven. If not the best. No kidding. I regularly eat Greek here for a simple reason: good food, friendly staff, full plates. The owners (which are real Greek) are always in the room, making sure everything is perfect. This is already a positive sign, in my opinion. I recommend Tiriopita and Gyros. If I have to find a negative point, that's the Retzina wine. At the end of the dinner you won't be able to stand-up easily so full you'd be. Price aligned to Eindhoven standard: 20-25€ pp. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

we arrived without a reservation on a busy saturday night and got a table overlooking the city.
Service was fantastic.
No burger on the menu which was strange for this sort of establishment.
We both ordered fajitas , beef and chicken and they were ok. a bit bland to be honest.
didnt seem like they were seasoned.
we asked for more wraps and chips which were given to us for free.
i left disappointed and would not return.

a good restaurant again in Nuenen, the village of Van Gogh the famous painter tel +31 40 2952486
Took my wife for dinner here on a quiet Sunday evening in December 2016.
Parking no problem on the main street.
Friendly reception and consistent, friendly and unobtrusive service.
Servers seemed knowledgeable enough about the food and wine without trying to impress by telling a long story.
I think definitely worth a second visit - I liked this place.

On day time, enjoy our relax restaurant/terras with a lunch, coffee or a drink on the beautifull (terras) location with the view over the park and the van Gogh statue. In the evening we got 7 days a week the Brasilian BBQ (Rodizio).
Nice place with a good model: selections of soup for a starter, a cold buffet and a warm buffet all to accompany the main.
The mains are skewers of different meats served to your table. There's lamb, chicken, shrimp, beef and different variations of each. And all this for a very decent price.
We'll definitely visit again.

This restaurant is located in nature, only a few minutes drive outside the Eindhoven city center. Lovely spot near a pond and water floating along a watermill. The old mill and farm were once painted by Vincent Van Gogh during his period in Nuenen village. The restaurant is open for coffee, lunch, drinks and dinner. It has a large outside Terrace, and a cosy interior. The menu is limited and simple. During season various white asparagus dishes. Friendly service. A place we keep returning. Private free parking.

We visited this restaurant in Nuenen again after a few months and this confirmed our earlier experiences: nice food, good wine recommendations, lovely ambiance, great hosts. No wonder this large restaurant has many reguar guests. We had the game menu, consisting a.o. of perfectly roasted dove, deer, good cheese platter. Portions are good size. Flexiblel in changing dishes in set menu's.

Our first visit at ILIO'S restaurant was truly a revelation. The food was excellent, offering a great variety of classic Greek tastes (meat grill mix is especially recommended). The people were indeed welcoming and service was impecable. The perfect example of the famous Greek hospitality and cuisine. Undeniably the place to eat while in Eindhoven.

Nice restaurant with busy waiters very actively running around. Fine food and wine presentation. Meet was cooked professionally, whine scallops had unexpected neighbor in the dish and been overcooked. Presentation is pleasant to eye. Only interior lacks restaurant charm and tablecloth.
