Noci ( "I Nusce" in Bari dialect) is a city and comune in the Metropolitan city of Bari in the region of Apulia, in southern Italy. It has about twenty thousand inhabitants. Established during the Norman time in Italy, the town developed during the Angevin period. On a west to east line it is located between Gioia del Colle and Alberobello. Most buildings in the town are built in a traditional style and are packed together with few open spaces.

on a superhot sunday noon, I went to the bnice town of Noci , where in its centre ( parking spaces 20 mts away) it is located Antica Locanda, From the moment you step in, you are welcomed buy kind staff that will guide to your table, the owner will recommend you what the menu is offering , and will be suoer gentle in explaining you what best for your appetite .
Food is merely based on tradition , here done in a safe and genuine way , with generous portions and appropriated fair pricing .
Good wine selection and overall a nice experience, that I recommend as valid option when in this town and looking for a rela south italian experience

Very local Italian set in the middle of the countryside. Good, honest food, but nothing spectacular, and for what it was, somewhat overpriced. This seems to be the sort of place where families hold wedding receptions or christening parties, because the place was full of both when we were there for lunch. Air conditioning labours to cool the siize of the room when it's full of people.

We got to know about this place from a cafeteria owner in Noci centre. We therefore booked a table and upon arrival we were told to choose from the butcher what meats we wanted to eat.....we selected a number of local salamini sausages, pork and beef steaks and the staff told us that they were going to therefore cook them for us. We sat down and a large number of starters were served to us....cheeses, delicatessen items, bread, mushrooms.....can't remember them all!! Then we got our meats which were cooked to perfection accompanied by excellent local red wine. We also had a dessert of fresh fruits. All the ingredients were locally produced by the masseria which were exquisite. Do not expect 5 star treatment because this place embraces a relaxed country-style atmosphere....which we totally loved! And the price for all of this did not exceed 18euros per head!!!!!
Bit tricky to find as it is on the right hand side of the road from Noci to Mottola. You'll see a large sign on the side of the road and follow it. Totally worth visiting all year round.....call them beforehand to confirm that it's gonna open. Fantastic place for large groups aswell. Very professional staff!!

TYPICAL, LOCAL HISTORY, PRIVATE ATMOSPHERE
A tiny presence in the centro historico actually leads to a large outside area under an awning in a square behind the restaurant.
Not much action on a Saturday evening which was a shame. We couldn't have had a better welcome from the friendly and solicitous young manager or his perky little waitress. We were talked through the menu and the wine options and I began with a splendid (and generous) pasta and aubergine dish followed by a monster plate of saucissons and vegetables - but executed very tastefully and artistically! Mrs EPR womanfully tackled risotto then a steak before we both succumbed to homemade tiramisu, which was easily polished off.
We left, having paid a tiny bill, clutching a handful each of freebie jellybeans and macaroons! We would certainly be happy to visit again.

We had two dinners in the restaurant: first evening we had full 4 course meal, next evening pizzas.
The antipasti was huge selection of different small dishes. It was almost enough as a whole dinner. Pasta was nice but actually nothing more. As secondi we both had grilled octopus and got very tasty dishes. One could have been enough for both of us as there two octopusses is each plate. As dessert we both took some local icecream.
In the second night we both had pizza. We got them very quickly and enjoyed the crisp dough and excellent taste.
Service was quite quick in both nights and everything went smoothly. Very nice dinner experiences!

Food-wise this gets four stars. The antipasti is almost a meal in itself! But the setting, price and superb service take il Broschetto into the top bracket. Lots of local diners, lots of families with kids of all ages. But big enough to comfortably accommodate everyone. Recommended without hesitation.

Surrounded by the rich and wild countryside of the Murgia, in an exclusive atmosphere and picturesque, rural setting and the peace of the countryside of Puglia is barren "La Mandra" Farm B & B and Cottage. "La Mandra" welcomes its guests in a B & B housed in a stone trulli. The tourists will be taken on a gastronomic journey in the farm with typical and genuine products of the earth, in the peace of the surrounding countryside living experiences traveling in the kitchen and in the truest traditions of Puglia. Just the cuisine, prepared with love and dedication by the owners, retains the tastiness typical of ancient rural art and is enhanced with the love of those who for years puts guests at the center of attention.
We drove to the farm by a small road in a very pretty region of many old typical farms - we found it to be a highlight of the trip and recommend very much to visit this farm or anther as they are many in the central Puglia region.

Thanks to Mr. Mastropasqua, was born in 2002 in Noci, Dama Caffe & Dama Dore, able to respond to all needs: from early morning until evening through breakfast, appetizer, lunch, coffee, dinner and after dinner. The vast gastronomic proposal is able to satisfy all palates: 40 kinds of noodles sea and land, appetizers, meat, pizzas and desserts of all kinds. There is no shortage various snacks such as wraps, sandwiches, salads and assorted pucce. It also has gluten-free and lactose. The restaurant awaits its guests in a charming location characterized by stone highlighted by right lighting. In summer, a large open space makes it pleasant your evenings.
Great selection of pasta dishes and very nice pizza. We had a quiet lunch here sitting on the patio, when we passed later that evening more tables had been put out in the street and the place was buzzing. the food was very nice. We also ordered a Delivery and had it sent out to our B&B. Perfect!

If you need your caffeine boost any time of day, this is the spot. It's been here for 90 years and stays open round the clock, except from 2-3 AM. I guess they have to clean the espresso machine sometime. Excellent cornetti.

I have been there a few times and both the food and staff were excellent. It is not a real restaurant as usually it is rented for wedding and special events. The place is just great. It is a restaured old traditional farm from Puglia which has been rearranged in a great venue.
