It's a great Japanse restaurant to enjoy fresh and deliciious raw fish as well as miso soup filled with wakame seaweed, the local speciality. A set of rice, raw fish and miso soup costs approximately 20 US dollars (1,800 JPY) for both lunch and dinner. It's about 1 kilometer from Naruto Station. If you drive, they have a free parking, but you may need some patinet to find your space because it's not big and so crowded. I visited with my husband for Sunday lunch. We waited for almost 1 hour in our car, but we thought it's worth of it.

French "Four Seasons" Located with in the Seto Inland Sea National Park, panoramic views from Renaissance Naruto Resort and multiple nearby sightseeing attractions offer an impressive experience to rediscover Japan.
This restaurant really tried hard and did a good job at French and a mix of Japanese food. Everything was very well presented and tasty and of course the service met all expectations. The range of wine was good and at typical prices which were high but acceptable. Overall a very good effort and much better than expected.

This restaurant is upscale but the prices are decent at lunch time. They give you bread and olive oil, and hey have daily special courses that are delicious. I haven't been to this restaurant in a couple of years but I had been several times. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially at lunch time.

It was our last dinner at Hotel Ridge which is European cuisine at the California Table. The restaurant has a warm ambience in a contemporary decor which offers a nice Terrace with a spectacular view of the Naruto Bridge.
Food and wine were great in both taste and presentation while service was personal especially from the restaurant manager who offered us a taste of the California Geyserville red wine 2008 which was previously consumed by Chinese Premier.
Overall an enjoyable dinner at the restaurant.

While passing Naruto enroute to Awaji Island, we Google-searched & found this Udon place for a quick lunch. It turned out to be quite a gem of a find. It was surprisingly crowded (located in a suburb area close to some mega factory a few hundred metres away). Udon choices were good, & they served my favorite Udon Yaki! Great taste, just the texture was slightly to the soft side as we preferred firmer udon. Kudos!!

We have eaten at the other restaurant Bibimya just before and this restaurant is reached by driving along the coast along national road number 11 away from Tokushima.
We actually wanted to buy seafood but saw that there were limited varieties available. Perhaps it was already in the afternoon or the catch wasn't good that day. We left without getting any fresh seafood.
It looks though like a typical local Japanese seafood restaurant.

Though there are often long lines, meals at Bimbiya are worth the wait. Go early in the morning if you want to get a seat easily. Sashimi is extremely fresh...the fish are still swimming in pools outside. Therefore, the large slabs of fish are more robust than the typically soft, aged fish that is served on traditional sushi. The texture may come as a surprise to those not used to truly raw fish, but is a real treat if you have developed a taste for it. Try the tempura if you prefer cooked meals. The set menus with an assortment of sashimi and tempura are my personal favorites since they allow you to try a variety if different offerings.
