We were expecting above average food as some of the TA reviews seemed to indicate from their experiences. However, after waiting for well over half an hour for a burger and some combo of very greasy fried appetizers, it was mediocre at best. The only reason it's getting an average rating is because the young lady taking the orders was very friendly and apologetic about how long the man was taking to cook our order. There were only a couple of other orders ahead of ours, the place was not busy at all, and he was the only one cooking and extremely slow at it.

Stopped in the town of Nanton on our way to Fernie for a bite and noticed an Italian flag in front of this smaller looking cafe/restaurant. To our surprise, very cozy, clean and a great menu. The owner/cook came out and spoke with us while his daughter and grandson helped out. The food came out timely, fresh and flavourful. Bought a fresh local pie on the way out, definitely would go back and recommend to anyone driving through.

It's a shame that the quality and quantity at this establishment has gone downhill so badly under its new ownership. They no longer use locally sourced organic beef for their burgers, and their prices are through the roof. I don't mind paying $7 for a burger but to be charged another $6 or $7 for an order of fries or onion rings is outrageous. It should not cost $35 for two people to eat at a restaurant where you have to walk up to a window to order.

Sitting by the fireplace sipping on a good cappuccino with a lovely wrap! Enjoyed it all and will definitely go back.

Such a friendly greeting by the owner. She chatted while she was serving..... A small café serving coffee, tea etc with the most mouth watering Morning Glory muffins. And beverages served in good China cups, saucers and plates. Home made sandwiches, wraps, and some of the best chili in town, fruit pies. Well worth a visit.

Came here hungry before we were to begin an event Saturday evening. Given the economy these days, best to support the local business. Conveniently situated on QE2 south as you pass thru town, it's hard to miss.. an older building, plenty of signs advertising burgers, ice cream, etc. a typical burger/shake joint. Placed an order for cheeseburger combos with fries. They would be cooked to order, so a 7-10 minute wait was no big deal for me, especially since it was cook to order, it would be good hot food. The cheeseburgers were wrapped nicely, a little messy, but they were very very good and hit the spot nicely. Fries were great, as they weren't salted heavily, just plain, so we could customize as we wished. Pretty basic menu, very good food that hit the spot at a reasonable price as well. I'll have to try the ice cream or the Italian Soda next time I pass through.
