The place has quite good vegetarian dishes. The paneer preparations are especially good . The ambience is decent and the service is fast especially at lunch time , which required if Ur traveling for work. The food is north Indian in flavour and not very spicy

16-17 July, 2016.
I had arrived in Nanded in the late morning on 16 July 2016, and
my hosts had put me up in hotel City Pride, a place I have often
stayed in before, on visits to the city. The restaurant
(restaurant-cum-bar, actually) in the hotel is quite ominously
named `Cheers Bar'. I have patronised this place for meals:
primarily dinner, and breakfast. The food here is quite good, and
the service, decent, and unobtrusive. On this particular visit,
there was an official dinner at this place. There is a private
room adjacent to the main restaurant, which is very nicely done.
I had been a bit disappointed with the dark environs of the main
restaurant itself. Thankfully, things looked better this time.
There is nothing out of the ordinary from the outside.
The interiors have some nice decorations hanging from the roof,
and is relatively well-lit in the day-time, but personally, I do
not like the blue lights at night. The day time decor has some
matted curtains, which look quite nice.
The private room has a decor that is a bit different, and yet,
tasteful, with sufficient lighting, which is relatively
unobtrusive as well. The place has some peacock feathers against
a contrasting background. And what did we have for dinner?
It was quite a large gathering. We started with drinks, which
included beer, red wine, some whisky, and fresh lime soda, for
those not inclined toward alcoholic drinks. There were roasted groundnuts,
masala papad, and kebabs, and some miscellaneous fried things to
go with the drinks. We were a bit tired, and somewhat full by
now, with all the starters. For the main course, we went in for
some Maharashtrian-style khichdi, which has rice and pulses
cooked together, and served with garnishing. It turned out to be
an excellent choice. We had ice creams for dessert.
