This is my favourite restaurant in Lancaster. There are loads of amazing vegan options as well as the vegetarian menu that has lots of favourites like Homity Pie. The cakes are amazing too! Good value. Very popular and so make sure you get there early for lunch!

We ate at the restaurant as a part of a surprise meal for a very good friend's birthday and his family. They say good food and good company make a good night - and that's exactly what we had.
From planning the meal in advance and Seating everything was done with us without an issues, so on the day it went very smoothly. Great help much appreciated.
The steak did has a bit too much sauce to be a classic but was cooked excellently, service was good and always smiling. You could pass by and think it was a seaside café - but it's not, it's a good restaurant.
My only niggles are the sauce and the tightness of space to get us all in. I may be being a bit pedantic but as it's marked out 5 and not 10 I cannot give it the 4.5 or 9 I'd like to!
Nice local ales on sale as well.
Would I come again? Yes, without a shadow of a doubt.

Quite Simply French creates seasonal innovative menus that change every day. We use only the finest ingredients from local and specialist suppliers. Our ethos is bespoke, which means our all our dishes are cooked in small batches. We cook our food fresh to order and serve it with a friendly smile! Starters 50% off & Mains £10. Wednesday - Mussels or Steak - £15 Steak and Mussels - £20. Thursdays - Lobster and Champagne, a whole lobster and 2 glasses of champagne - £40. Sunday's - Simply Squiffy Offer, 2 courses and a bottle of wine for only £25. Sunday Lunch - 2 courses for £20.
Found QSF via TripAdvisor and we had our first dinner in October '17.
We were both very impressed by the décor, the hospitality and professionalism of all staff. The menu offers plenty of choice. The produce and ingredients is excellent.
We've shared the three starters: oysters, escargots and cuisses de grenouilles... And stuck to our own mains, to finish with the Gourmand dessert...
Unfortunately we live a couple of hours driving away but we'll definitely come back for more...

such a beautiful building, it combines old and new. The view is lovely, the food simple, some local dishes, the presentation is neat, the portions generous. It makes for a nice break from a windy walk on the Promenade. I would say that the place can get quite noisy inside, due to the shape of the room and the bar being a central part of it.Outside gets very busy on sunny days but this is a place I like to go back to when I'm in the area

Really enjoyed the evening. A party of six of us dined here last night. From walking in the staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome. The drinks went down well especially the red wine and great selection of G&Ts. The food was good freshly cooked, well presented and tasty and plentiful portions. will definitely be paying another visit.

Been here a few times now for family meals and celebrations. The food is lovely and tasty, the service is fantastic and the restaurant is impeccably clean. The decor and ambiance is great for any occasion. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a good Indian meal experience.

Walking down the prom we fancied a refuelling stop and chose Eric's cafe which is ideally opposite the iconicEric Morecambe
Statue. The staff were friendly and welcoming and an excellent menu was made available covering all needs from a full breakfast to a variety of lunch options. As
we on a drop in visit we had an excellent bacon Sandwich and a cappuccino that was coffee and not froth. Our only reason for
not giving 5 stars is the Seating
Lay out as most Seating is for a
Group and as a couple we felt taking up a cubicle designed for
6 people was not what we would have chosen,it certainly will not
Stop us returning.

My husband and I decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at this restaurant, as we also celebrated both our birthdays there as well. As usual the staff were very welcoming and helpful. For starts we chose a King Prawn salad and Grilled Scallops. They were lovely. We love our steaks, so chose to cook our own steak on the hot stone. This is much nicer and we can cook it the way we like it, very rare! You must ask for your steak not to be put on the hot rock before though, otherwise it is served to you already cooking on the hot rock. Sprinkle salt on the stone, put your piece of meat on top, grill and eat. Yumm! The steaks are usually served with a BBQ sauce and a chilli sauce. I cannot eat chilli, so they usually will shop it for a garlic mayo sauce for me. This time we requested sweet potato fries instead of the chunky chips. They were lovely. We had Creek Wilde White Zinfadel wine with our meal. O I almost forgot. My wonderful husband had a bouquet of red roses delivered to the restaurant for me. The staff brought it over with their best wishes. It was a lovely evening all in all.

The Sun Terrace Restaurant serves up contemporary cuisine in a relaxed, debonair environment. Boasting magnificent sea views, it's ideal for busy business brunches as well as intimate dinners. We serve British classics prepared using local produce from Lancashire, the Cumbrian countryside and fresh from the Irish Sea.
Had a lovely afternoon tea with champagne for my mum’s birthday, it was extremely well organised and the champagne was lovely, I requested that we didn’t have salmon or egg mayonnaise sandwiches when booking, unfortunately this didn’t happen, but nonetheless the afternoon tea was lovely and we were able to take the sandwiches home for dad to eat !

We popped in this pub today, we got a lovely reception from the staff and the beer was spot on. We ordered a sharing platter it was very impressive and more than enough food for two. Well worth a visit.HI Thanks for the great review hope to see you again in the future.
