After a long days drive we were looking for beer and wings. The Cage Aux Sports was no disappointment. Cheerful, prompt service. Delicious wings both hot and salt and pepper. Unfortunately, we forgot about our $15 voucher from the Best Western. Boohoo! I also had the wonton nachos that were delicious in sauce and condiments but the wonton were a bit on the greasy side.

Restaurant, Cafe, Boulangerie
This is actually a bakery combined with a lovely café. It is great for breakfast - sticky buns (not too gooey), croissants, breads, and other goodies; and good coffee, the smells that emanates from the kitchen add to the enjoyment. They also have a very good choice of other healthy foods for lunch. It is a walking distance from the place where the theatre festival holds their morning talks (meetings with the artists).

Recommend medium size ... Excellent pizza. Simple take-out with a few tables. Probably the best pizza in a 150km radius . Worth a stop if you are not looking for cotton table cloth and fancy decoration.

We have eaten at Place Mt-Laurier many times over the last few years and have always found it to be tasty food, generous portions, and served by very friendly staff. It is a clean restaurant and the public facilities are among the cleanest we have seen! It has an extensive menu and caters to all tastes. The Greek dishes are excellent, reflecting the owner's cultural background. Great place to eat when visiting the upper Laurentians.

As cyclists, we had no problems polishing off a great open face Texan burger with home fries, a Super burger and a banana split. All burgers were fresh and clasically well made served on wax papered basket plates. The dairy delight was served on a plastic boat shaped bowl with plastic spoons. Portions are not that big, just adequate for good appetites. The 3 types of beer are of the commercial variety, however, the red wine was a half bottle of southern French Pays Doc- a pleasant surprise! Friendly, fast service in a super clean, relaxed atmosphere resembling a diner. There is also exterieur Seating with picnic tables.

I was looking to have some lunch in Mont-Laurier and saw this small restaurant where all the parking spaces were taken in front and in the back. So, I said to myself, how bad can it be?
This restaurant was established in 1999 but changed owners in 2002. As I walked in almost all the tables were taken. Did I forget to mention that this was an all you can eat establishment.
Yes, from Monday - Thursday lunch is only $9.50. Supper is $13.00. From Friday to Sunday the lunch Is the same price but supper goes up to $15.50. They also have a Sunday brunch for a reasonable $10.00.
I was very impressed with the quality and quantity offered. They even have a salad bar which contained crab meat, shrimp, salad, etc. as well, some nice desserts/ ice cream.
I sampled a little of almost everything on the buffet and everything was pretty tasty. They kept refilling the trays as they started running out.
It isn't gourmet Chinese dining but definitely worth the price. They open daily at 11a.m. and have a Delivery service. If you order $10.00 or more, for pick-up, they will give you a 10% discount.

My dad, brother and I ate there yesterday for supper. My brother had ribs (20$), his words "Oh man those ribs were good" the fries were ok but that SAUCE (gravy) is delicious! I had the 25$ special for 2 with my dad which included 1 quarter chicken thigh, 1 quarter chicken breast, a choice between 4 cheese sticks or 4 spring rolls 2 coffees and this desert in 3 mini shot glasses. The cheese sticks were great at just the right temperature and it came with a sauce that resembled salsa, very good. My chicken was yummy with just a tiny spot that looked undercooked and mushy. My dad didn't say anything bad about his meal, he did like the sweet potato fries. The Deserts were good, very small amount but very tasty.
The restaurant looked new and clean, our waiter was very friendly and not in a overly fake way :) we ordered in French but when we didn't understand the special he did his best to describe it in English which was helpful.
Overall very nice place :) I would recommend it for special occasions because it can get pricey.

I've no idea where they have gained the photo used here, but that's not this restaurant.
You order fast food style from the counter - and it gets delivered to your table on paper plates ... why paper plates? I've no idea.
Poutine with smoked meat was average, club Sandwich same, coffee pretty bad.
Diner food.
Breakfast was finished by 11am.

We ate supper here after a long day of riding getting to the region and then riding about 4 hours off road in the Papineau Labelle wildlife refuge. Sampler trays of beer are available to taste test the house beers, after which a more personalized choice can be made. The food is above average for a tavern and the service was fast, friendly and professional. The steak was ok and the side of beef with bone was really good, even if did have a rather large chunk of lard still attached to it. Good ambiance and table conversation is easy to follow as there is no loud music blasting throughout the restaurant.
