We ate here in March 2014 and found the total experience to be as reliable and excellent as ever. The 6 course gastronomic menu is highly original and with a fantastic combination of intense flavors and differing textures. Expressive yet subtle. The wine pairings were good and unless you are looking for some wine in particular I would recommend taking this option.
Only the cheese course was less than original and although good, not at the same level as the other 5 courses.
The setting is great with an informal Seating area to enjoy an aperitif next to the open fire. In spring & summer there is a beautiful Terrace overlooking the a large pond. The dining room is relatively small with maybe 40 places. All in all a very intimate setting, but also OK for an informal group. Atmosphere is very relaxed.
The restaurant is setting in a large classic villa style former residence and now offers a few rooms for overnight stay (I have not tried these but they look good).
The entrance is a easy to miss at night on a long road with poor numbering, but once there you will find plenty of parking behind the restaurant.

Postelsche Hofstee is a typical Belgian restaurant where families go on a Sunday at 12:00 to eat, talk and sit there until late afternoon and where food is not the first priority, it is the whole package that counts. I ate there several times now and they serve a French/Flemish/Belgian cuisine. It is good quality, sometimes even too much, but not haute cuisine, do not expect refined dishes. The white and red house wine is OK, service is friendly and quick.

I'd highly recommend this restaurant tucked in the heart of Mol, Belgium. The food is first-rate, and is served by friendly & helpful staff. If possible, try to eat downstairs as the atmosphere is better than upstairs, where it tends to be quieter (on a mid-week night). Great to get such good value too, we were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived.

We were here as a couple and had diner. Quality of food is very good, staff is very friendly. Service is more brasserie style than restaurant style. Not really for a romantic evening as a couple, more for celebrating with family or friends. Price is correct but a bit overprised for the location and in comparison with available alternatives in the regio.

Italian food - very good and you get some delicious bread with toppings as a starter. This restaurant is not located in the center of Mol, 5 minutes driving from the center but located in a nice quiet area, of which the Terrace oversees beautiful landscape. As the restaurant is very spacious, this is the perfect location to go to with your kids, specificially if you have a baby stroller it can be really hard to manoeuvre is some restaurants, but not in this one. The owners have 2 twins! themselves so know how to make the location kids-friendly :).
You can also get pizza's to go from here.

We enjoyed our evening in this little but ambitious gem. Our choice was the 5 course set menu. Talbot and rabbit were to the point - just delicious! The cod was a bit dry - our only room for improvement. Bouffard serves little dishes with almost no carbs (except for the bread).
The white house wine (Touraine Sauvignon Blanc) is on above average quality level. The Malbec Reserva was just fine with the rabbit.
The bill was not low but at fully acceptable price-performance level. We'll be back!

I picked this place to eat at random whiile on a business trip. It was a good choice.
The menu had a good range of dishes to suit most tastes. I had their steak special. Beautifully presented (see the photo!) and very good value. The usual good range of Belgian beers was available, again at reasonable prices. Steak plus a couple of beers came to about 20€.
For a Tuesday evening, the atmosphere was great. The place was fairly full with families and a party from a sports club. Lively without being too noisy.
I'd happily go back.

Very cosy interior and excellent service in a hard-to-find restaurant in the outskirts of Geel. Friendly and experienced staff and a great dinner - including splendid wines at a very decent cost. recommended!
