This resort area on the southern part of Gran Canaria has a laid-back, upscale vibe. You’ll find crystal-clear water perfect for snorkeling, a network of canals (which gave the town the nickname “Little Venice”), and a number of restaurants and bars along the pretty beach.

We were on a trip into the lovely interior of the island and fancied a cappuccino. Best one we had during our holiday and the cheapest! Lovely views across the countryside within the mountainous interior of Gran Canaria. The roads are twisting in the area and we decided that while they are ok in the daylight they may be tricky after dark
(real country dark as well) so didn't return to eat there in the evening as we would have liked. A great place for light nights or lunch though .

For more than 12 years our team, under the management of owner Sven Bierenbreier, has been pleased to make your stay as memorable as possible. Feel home away from home at our restaurant in the peaceful city of Puerto de Mogán. We are looking forward to welcoming you!
This is a very good restaurant, they can cook. Only one drawback, they do not serve the whole fish but only as file. And it was ever so slightly overcooked. They can cook, so they obviously do this on purpose, "they play it safe". Next...MoreDear Jan, thank you very much for your lovely review! We would be happy to welcome you again! Best regards Sven Oliver Bierenbreier General Manager

Whenever we visit Spain we always look forward to paella. It is one of the worlds greatest culinary creations so why mess with it? Last night we had what can only be described as a deconstructed paella. A small amount of paella rice with shellfish piled on top that had been cooked separately. Sorry it just didn’t work for us, no reason to change a fabulous classic dish.
On the plus side the staff were very good and the desserts excellent.

I noticed this restaurant from the tv series approx 15-20 ago, called "Sydenliv". We had a fantastic evening with a lot of exquisite and exciting food which we have never tasted before. The service and location was perfect and we had the time of our life. Highly recommendable!

Romantic Italian Restaurant in the heart of Puerto de Mogán, fresh home made pasta, pizza, original Italian main course, home made desserts and ... find it out.
We like food. We like pasta. we weren't disappointed.
Actually my wife and I weren't particularly hungry, but needed to have something. We chose this restaurant because the menu had something for both of us,
We sat inside this small and quaint restaurant, in a little booth. the staff were friendly and efficient. Now about the food...
For starters we shared bruschetta, but not the run of the mill stuff; this had a really nice cheese (no idea what kind) with walnuts and hobey, as well as the standard type, both of which were excellent.
I had a simple bowl of red spaghetti with garlic and chilli oil - fantastic. Tracey had ravioli stuffed with salmon.
I said we weren't hungry, but the food was so good we decided to gorge ourselves and finish with a Tiramisu, which was large, light and delicious.

As always, we love Los Guayres for its quality, professionalism and innovation. It was just the same this time but sadly, the a la carte menu had gone. We opted for the taster menu and we were not disappointed. Different, flavoursome, innovative and attractive. Great to experience once in a holiday.
However, I would prefer the a la carte menu which offers choice and variety that would encourage me to make more than one visit per holiday. We return in May so we will see what is on offer. Los Guayres is a lovely dining experience.

A family dinner combined with our daughters birthday on our last vacation evening.
We were recommended this by the receptionist on our hotel, she knew what she talked about.
The restaurant has indoor and outdoor facilities and we got a table outside.
It was a bit special but it also got a good atmosphere.
We got served by a very friendly staff and
they provided high standard.
Ok the food.
We ordered garlic shrimps for starters and they were some of the best we ever had.
We ordered filet mignonette of beef for all 3 and before we got the main course they served a nice salad with tzaziki.
We got our main course and it was served with canary potatoes with mojo sauce.
The meat was so tender and juicy it really surprised us, this was so good and tasteful so we agreed that this meal was some of our best.
We will absolutely recommend this restaurant, a bit different from other but HIGH class standard.
We will be back next vacation.

Overlooks the beach at Puerto de Mogan, Gran Canaria.
We had gelato (ice-cream) at a few different places in Puerto de Mogán, and Gelatomania definitely had the best gelato among those we tried. The taste and creaminess of the gelato was just as it should be. The flavours that they offered were among our favourites (hazelnut, stracciatella, coconut) and the waffle cone was tasty too.

Used to be a lot better for the breakfast , like a lot of places they start off good and then start buying cheap products when they get a decent reputation thinking they will keep it .. On our last visit we could not eat the sausages they were that bad , no meat more just bread crumbs , my wife and had the same opinion , certainly did not taste anything like meat .
