This restaurant is well worth a visit. The staff were super friendly and the food was excellent - but not cheap.
a good house wine was available only the grappa offered was a little below the standard expected after such a good meal. They did not quite get my steak "english" but it was very close and tasted really good.
Deserts looked good but a little too flashy for my tastes.

Stopped with my wife and kids for a quick hit Choc and gluhwein in the dying afternoon sunlight which falls beautifully on its gorgeous Terrace. The waiter pretended not to speak English and was rather curt, and the other patrons apparently had only just seen a one yr old for the first time ever, even though my boy was quiet and well mannered.

There are 4 or 5 restaurants in Mittleberg, most attached to a hotel. This was one of the more inexpensive ones in town. I would give it 3.5 stars if possible.
Go in and order your food, cafeteria style an they will bring it to your table.
Hubby and I both had small salads and then he had pizza and I had spaghetti with tomato sauce. He had beer and I had soda.
I have posted a picture of their menu.
It was a nice night out so we sat out on their patio. It wasn't overly busy and the food came quickly . My husband liked his pizza. Mine was average. I am a vegan (vegetarian, no dairy or eggs)
The food was good for the price point. There is finer dining available in town if that is what you like.

We stopped here for lunch during a cold skiing day. We were warmly greeted by the staff and shown a table in the cosy and charming restaurant. The menu is truly Austrian and fairly priced.
The dishes are served rapidly and the portions are gigantic. The quality is outstanding.
Special mention for the garlic soup.
I strongly recommend this restaurant for a good traditional meal.

Was recommended by the local and definitely worth the warmest recommendations. Food is excellent, very generous portions with friendly service for a decent price, will be coming back for sure.

I am no fan of this restaurant. The staffs arrogant and the food is nothing special. I guess they make a great show about the place, but i don't see what it is about...

We had asked our host at our vacation home where we could have dinner - one of her recommendations was the Eberlehof. As it is situated somewhat out of the well traveled areas we were surprised that there was a rather large crowd for dinner. Once we ordered and were served we understood why so many came there - the service was very friendly and attentive, the food was good and generous. All around a very good experience.

Very good and tasty food, uncomplicated and relaxed dinner place. Portions are German style = big.
Last time when we were in Kleinwalsertal we turned away as we thought the smoking area is the dining area but the dining room comes after the bar (smoking area).

Great views and atmosphere. Typical chalet and very good food. Friendly service but make sure you bring an umbrella as being stuck on the skilift during a downpour is not much fun!Dear Guydavies, thanks for your comment. We are happy you enjoyed your stay.
