Délice Resto is located in Midoun, Djerba. This is a gourmet restaurant, offers international and regional cuisine (meat, fish, seafood, pasta).
Our taxi drive recommended this restaurant. Located in the heart of Midoun, Jerba's second largest town and less than 5 Tunisian dinars by taxi from many seaside hotels, Resto Delice was a wonderful find! We were greeted upon arrival by the owner, who welcomed us and thanked us for coming. We proceeded to enjoy a most enjoyable meal in this rather unadorned restaurants. From the fresh calimari appetizer, to our respective main courses of grilled Turkey brochettes and a second main course of pasta with mushrooms, the food was well prepared and excellent values. Following our meal, Kamel, the owner came over to thank us again for coming and surprised us each with a homemade cake with cinnamon, complemented by ice cream. A most gracious host, when I told him I wanted to write about his restaurant on Trip Advisor, he proudly showed us his Trip Advisor awards for 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Clearly well deserved, we look forward to returning to Resto Delice and highly recommend anyone visiting Jerba to enjoy a meal at this most enjoyable restaurant.

restoration à la carte, which gives you a rich local card, specialities of the sea, Tunisian and international specialities.
Nice food, great to have a change from hotel buffett. Tasty and good choice and very enjoyable time!

The ice-cream is made on the premises. If you like rich chocolate ice-cream then this is the place for you. They also do a rich chocolate and raspberry flavour. Their sorbet flavours are so refreshing and zingy especially the lemon. They will let you taste a flavour or two if you ask.

We went to rachid and sophies because of the excellent reviews,
When we arrived it looked very pleasant. We sat at a table but immediately 4 people on the table next to us began smoking. As the restaurant is quite enclosed and very crowded and the tables very close together, our waiter thought that it would be no better anywhere else.
Although we are used to the fact that a lot of Tunisians smoke, it hasn't been a problem anywhere else.
I'm sure the restaurant is lovely but if, like us you do not like a lot of cigarette smoke while you eat is not for you.

Rather a small and very casual restuarant, typical tunisian food with a long list of meals to choose from.
We were a group of eight and all ordered different meals; everyone was happy with their meal: very yummy food, and great, yet simple, execution. Only exception was for the Bolognese my niece ordered, not a surprise as it's not really a Tunisian specialty.
Service was great: free "mise en bouche", free tea and a platter of fruit to finish.
If you are in for some grillades, try and make it there before 10 pm: they do run out of fish and sea food quickly, which is a sign of fresh daily supply !
Having been to other restaurants on the island, I believe Les Palmiers has one of the best Value for money. A definite Recommend !

The food was OK. Decent view by the ocean. The fish was fresh but the octopus and calamari were a bit tough and flies were unmanageable.

This restaurant is advertised as in Midoun but is nearer to our hotel in Aghir, so it might be better enquiring on the distance from your hotel rather than from Midoun because the taxi driver was not sure at first. Anyway, the food is delicious. The strawberry ice cream even tastes like ripe strawberries. All of our party from age 5 to 40 was happy and we had a huge meal each with dessert and a mint tea for approx £40. We had no idea that the restaurant was actually on a beach with no other businesses around so didn't have enough cash on us, yet the staff allowed us to eat and gave us a lift to an ATM then a courtesy lift to our hotel. Amazing service or what?

One of the secrets of Djerba. You won't find sea bass, jumbo shrimps, dorado and any other fresh fish any fresher. The simplicity of this restaurant says everything, understated indeed. I have taken many friends here and we all agree, The Best!
