Međugorje, or Medjugorje, (Serbo-Croatian pronunciation: [mêdʑuɡoːrje]) is a town located in the Herzegovina region of Bosnia and Herzegovina, around 25 km (16 mi) southwest of Mostar and close to the border of Croatia. The town is part of the municipality of Čitluk. Since 1981, it has become a popular site of Catholic pilgrimage due to reports of alleged apparitions of the Virgin Mary to six local children.

We noticed that their prices are more expensive than Columbo's and it wasn't any better. We did, however, enjoy homemade ravioli's. But we just prefer Columbo's as they offer non-smoking area.

Each time I come to Medjugorje, I always visit Colombo’s. It is a popular location at most times during the day. The food is good and the staff are always efficient and helpful. The desert menu has many tempting options to choose from. I enjoy their food and the service.
I have noticed a change in the clientele and there are more younger children visiting with parents. The children can be a distraction running around the place. It’s difficult for the staff to control such situations.

If you are visiting Bosnia-Erzegovina come to Ai Dogi restaurant, to taste our delicious cuisine and our good wines. Ai Dogi is open also to outside guests. Ai Dogi is the à la carte restaurant at Medjugorje Hotel & Spa where you will find a wide choice of specialities, all of them cooked in a open-view kitchen. Our menu comprises tasty interpretations of the Mediterranenan tradition, such as dishes from Italy, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Dalmatia: pasta, gnocchi and risotti, grilled meat, grilled fish, and a wonderful pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. We also have a wide wine list, where to choose the best wines to pair with your lunches or dinners. Ai Dogi restaurant is an informal, yet elegant ambience, hence it is the right places for every occasion: business lunches, romantic dinners, friend reunions, parties, celebrations. Taste, courtesy and excellent ingredients are our business card: we are waiting for you!
We stayed at the Medjugorje Hotel and Spa and opted for the breakfast with our stay. The breakfast was great with a wide selection of fruits, breads and make to order omelets.

We patronized this restaurant on 17 Nov 2016 after evening mass at St James Church which was 3-min walk away.
Nice and cozy ambience. There was a fireplace too.
I was sick and needed hot soup and food. I was not fussy and just needed something to eat before I took my medicine.
If memory didn't fail me, there were rice and slices of carrot in the soup which was delicious! It was like taking Chinese porridge which I dearly missed, especially when I was sick. The only hiccup was that the chef was overly generous with his salt, thus I had to request for hot water and an empty bowl to dilute its salt content.
The bread was nice!
Our two plates of Fettuccine Carbonara were good too!
Price was about S$15-20 per pax thereabout. Can't recall the exact amount.

This authentic Italian caffe' is located on the way to Apparition Hill. I say authentic because it is operated by true Italians who know how to make a perfect cup of espresso (ILLY). One day they actually had cannoli, not the ones you usually find in the USA, full of a sugary filling. These delicacies were filled with ricotta and made on the premises. We came back to this place time after time just to savor the perfect cup of espresso.

I really liked my meals in Restaurant Dubrovnik.
Let's start there.
I had always avoided it for some reason until one night it was quite late and everywhere else was packed and there were still a few stragglers sitting out on the Restaurant Dubrovnik Terrace and I thought.... why not?
I started to get a bit scared when I heard the ladies at the next table complaining about how long they'd been waiting for everything. HOWEVER, in my case, my food and drinks came out quickly.
I ate cannelloni one night and a pizza another night. They also had very addictive french fries (or chips as we call them in Ireland). The piece de resistance for me was the walnut cake. It was like a Swiss Roll with a thick walnutty cream. It was just AMAZING.
My bills came to around €11 each evening - with a drink, a main, fries and cake.
And the waiters were friendly and attentive.
I would recommend it and I hope to go back again one day!

We had lunch in this nice restoraurant in Međugorje, we ate grill chicken and lamb with potatoes. We also recommend Shopska salad, vegetables with greek chees. The best of all is home made bread which is very tasty. Nice ambient, free parking., cheap. If we go again in Međugorje we will eat in this place.

I like my food. People who know me will tell you.
I really liked what I ate in Restoran Vlado. I asked them to recommend something typical of the Herzegovina region and I ended up having a deliciously simple tomato and onion salad, some cevapi (grilled and lightly spiced meat rolls) with some of that delicious relish made of peppers known as 'ajvar'.
When I finished my meal and took out my card to pay, the owner told me they didn't accept cards. Silly me. Embarrassing moment. Then he said... come back tomorrow, there's no problem! I was relieved and thankful and so the very next morning I took out some local currency and went and paid.
I tried going back for dinner on two different evenings but the place was packed!
I will hopefully get a chance to eat there again in the future.

It is very good located in the main street, close to the church in Međugorje. I visited that redtaurant several times.., there l just feel as at home. The food is very good. Grilled meat with, home made pommes frites and grilled vegetables are really good. Pizza from wood oven is excellent. Myfavourite is an ice cream, their own production. It is definitly to recommend.
We will come back for sure
