casual cafe/restaurant like many in the Middle East, fresh and tasty ingredients producing very tasty and authentic dishes.
We were so happy to find the French Connection during our stay in Maun. We've eaten there twice and hope to return more. Pleasant setting in shaded garden, near the airport and downtown. It is an eclectic menu, everything from stuffed chicken breasts, to Thai fish cakes, to burgers and fries. And, finally, a place that knows how to make iced coffee! It is decently priced for the quality. The owners are always around and it shows.

Home-cooked breakfasts and lunches, with the freshest ingredients in town, and a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Very tasty. Portions adequate. Service pleasant. Many vegetarian options. The only thing that bothered me was that, in this FUNCTIONAL AFRICAN STATE, my receipt was hand written and not fiscal. I would prefer if Hilary paid her taxes in her host country. Please be assured that we are totally legal, and I DO pay all taxes. Hand written invoice does not mean tax evasion.

My daughter and I went there for breakfast! Was very good and our server was wonderful! Felt like we had made a friend before we left.
Love the laid back location. Plenty of interesting little shops around it to visit with some of the nicer local art work and curios.

The food and service was good but when we asked for sambals neither the waiter nor the chef understood what we were asking for and when we tried to explain we were served thickly sliced tomato and onion. We also had to request chutney. Must add that they tried very hard and as I said the curries that we were served were tasty.

Returning from 5 days in wildlife paradise Moremi game reserve where we camped without any facilities, we felt like entering paradise in the Red Monkey. Great coffee and cake! And wonderful toilets :-) And wifi to tell our friends and relatives that we survived the game reserve :-))

Peri-Peri chicken restaurant with a world famous Portuguese style menu. Visit Nando’s in Botswana for a truly South African dining experience.
We had a very tasty meal the service was friendly if a little slow as they were very busy with takeaways. Good portions and reasonably priced. Would recommend.

While in Maun we ended up eating here on several occasions because most other restaurants were closed due a national holiday. This is not to mean that we only ate there because of this. The menu had many tasty Indian dishes and while the pizzas were not world class they were good. The staff was very friendly and it is a good location to hang out across from the airport.

Unexpectedly came across this charming little cafe while visiting the museum.
Arty, eclectic, African and very friendly I would highly recommend a visit. Allow yourselves time for relaxing as this is not a fast food establishment. The menu was simple and varied. Breakfast items, sandwiches and pastries, as well as a few simple salads and hot dishes. Great for lunch.
Service was warm and welcoming.

Happy to see the Italian tradition brought to Africa. I'm what would be considered a regular and I am never disappointed. As an Italian myself I'm very happy to dive into a small slice of Italy more than ten thousand kilometers away from home. Great...Moregrazie per la bellissima recensione... speriamo di rivederti presto a Maun.. Daniele
