The Chateau Mygo restaurant is a 3rd generation west indian restaurant. We are opened for breakfast lunch and dinner. Inside we have two bars inside the restaurant one which services those dining in the restaurant and the Hurricane Hole bar which caters to one who is just in need of a drink. We serve an array of different dishes and add our local touch to it. Chateau Mygo is a sea side restaurant which has a great view of Marigot Bay and all the yachts coming or leaving the bay. Every week we offer a number of different events to satisfy our customers which include Reggae and band night two days a week ( or more depending on the time of year.), happy hour everyday at 5-6 pm and much more. Our friendly staff create a vibrant caribbean atmosphere and are always at your service.
We stopped here for lunch on a boat tour with Rule the Tide :)
Very nice place for a stop.
Food was delicious...
Service a little slow but that didn't bother us...we're on island time here!
The staff keeps the communication to a minimum here...which kind of puts a downer on the experience! A smile goes a long way! It is also on a pricey side...still worth the stop.

DOOlittle's restaurant + bar aims to create a menu that pleases all palates with locally sourced, seasonal and sustainable ingredients creating a reciprocal partnership with the island's farmers and food suppliers. Our menu reflects international selections infused with a Saint Lucian twist and cooking methods. Our philosophy is to create a dining experience that provides delicious food served by professionals who share the love for gathering around a table and enjoying one's company over food and drink.
This place has a nice atmosphere and the food and drinks are fine. Service is incredibly slow, not just typical island time slow. They also seem to have a problem forgetting stuff you ordered. This wan't just a one time thing, we actually ate here 3 times, twice for lunch and once for dinner.

My husband and I had a really nasty experience Doo Littles and ended up here instead. While perhaps in not so much of a prime location it is still right on the bay with lovely views. The food was plentiful and tasty. My husband's chicken curry was good and my omlette was huge, nice and fluffy and loaded with cheese and veggies. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed and the server was sweet. Recommended if you want to enjoy good food and service in Marigot Bay without spending an arm and a leg!

Having got ourselves to Castries by local bus, we found a taxi driver to take us up the mountain to The Pink Plantation. The core of the house is a century and a half former cocoa plantation. The balcony forms the restaurant with a stunning view over Castries towards Rodney Bay and Martinique on a clear day. And on a showery day, it’s fascinating to sit and watch the changing weather patterns.
We made two lunchtime visits to the restaurant during our time on St. Lucia and the food did not disappoint. Always a good sign when each member of the group selects a different meal and everyone is happy. Service was attentive and unhurried.
One suggestion, check opening hours as they are not the same every day.

We read so many good things about Jade Mountain Resort before going to St. Lucia and decided to go there for lunch. We called the same day and there was no problem at all getting a table. We drove there in our rental car (a small 4x4), and although the road was was quite bumpy and steep we had no problem getting to Chaste Ansanet Resort where they called for a pickup car to drive us up to Jade Mountain (they do this for free and will not let you drive there on your own). Remember to make a reservation through Jade Mountain Resort before you get there, or else they might not drive you there.
The view when you get there is absolutely breathtaking and is worth the trip alone.
We were met by a very polite staff who made us feel very welcome. They offered to take pictures of us before we were taken to our table. We got there at 1200 on a Sunday and on arrival we were the only ones at the restaurant, so we were able to choose the table with the greatest view over the pitons. However, you will get a great view wherever you sit.
Our waiter (I believe his name was Lawrenson) offered great service. The lunch has an a la carte menu with a great variety of meat, seafood and vegetarian options. The drink menu is also very good. We ordered two main courses, one drink, a large bottle of water and Deserts for both of us. We also got a complimentary nonalcoholic drink as one of us was driving. The food was the best we had while staying on the island (and St. Lucia has very good food), and after the main course and desert we were both very full. We ended up paying about 70 USD which really isn't a bad price considering the quality and amount of food, especially not on St. Lucia where the prices tend to be quite high.
If you´re gluten free this really is the best place to go to. They were able to make every meal on the menu gluten free, and they even offered gluten free bread which was really tasty and not dry at all (for everyone eating gluten free you probably know it´s rare to have a non-dry gluten free bread at a restaurant).
After lunch we went up to the sun roof and could stay there for as long as desired. We had the whole sun roof to ourselves and it was really amazing. We would recommend having lunch opposed to dinner because of the beautiful Panorama view. This also gives you the opportunity to go Anse Chastanet beach after lunch (the beach is right next to the guest parking on Anse Chastanet), which is highly recommended on a sunny day.

Local restaurant with a great view over Marigot Bay, with high end local cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere and our motto is " Nothing fancy - simply good food".
We had dinner twice at Julietta's in January 2018 while staying in Marigot Bay. Julietta's is a very comfortable and unpretentious restaurant. On both occasions we sat on the covered outdoor deck gazing at the lights of Marigot Bay below, so the daytime view at lunch must be breathtaking. Before commenting on the food, we want to recommend the rum punch which is the best that we had anywhere in Saint Lucia. The food was very good local cuisine, nicely prepared and presented, which is exactly what we wanted. For the first dinner we started with the fish cakes and then shared main courses of coconut shrimp and lamb curry. Several days later we began with conch fritters and then shared the curried chicken and the catch of the day. We enjoyed every dish and also appreciated Julietta's personal warm welcome and the complimentary lift back to our inn after dinner. Overall, Julietta's is a very nice choice for dinner in the Marigot Bay area.

JJ's Dock old Site of JJ's Paradise
Firstly to say that you can get to Jd's Mangrove by car from the Castries - Soufriere road. JD is at the end of a pretty rough, but made up road, along with a hotel and other restaurant / bar.
We visited and just requested juice drinks, we were surprised at the cost, based on the menu the cost should have been $4, we were charged $6. So, not the usual 10% service and 10% tax but a nice 50% charge, and yes, we were the only people in the place.

The restaurant is already discussed in your forums. I just can't find a listing for it so that I can review it. I don't know the street number (not much on the internet about it), but it is on West Coast Rd, Soufriere, St. Lucia. It was very clean and well decorated. The view of the Pitons and the food were both excellent. It is on the West Coast Rd north of Soufriere.
The views were amazing and the food was delicious. It was a buffet and was lovely. Some folks have complained about the price but ours was included in the cost of our tour so I don't know how much it was but probably well worth it for the incredible views of the Pitons.

Harry, Matilda and Carmen gave excellent white glove silver service. The menu was varied and they happily accommodated changes to the dishes. The courses arrived quickly and was beautifully presented. A pleasant, air conditioned setting. Booking is mandatory.

Casual and affordable waterfront dining in a tropical garden setting.
My wife and I recently stopped at this exceptional restaurant on the harbor in Castries. On the last night of a 10 day St Lucia vacation I found this restaurant on trip advisor and after having eaten at many of the Rodney Bay restaurants decided to give some Castries cuisine a try. We found Brown Sugar after dark in a hard to find spot and a bit off the beaten track and the approach to the restaurant was not really impressive. So right away you say to yourself am I doing the right thing. Well let me tell you, it was without a doubt the right thing. The place has a beautiful view of Castries harbor and the food is 100% top shelf gourmet. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef and I do presume the owner of this fine restaurant. She is a really nice woman originally from NYC, and I would guess trained there as well. Our waitress was a wonderful young St. Lucian woman who was so good at what she did that she could easily be a server in any fine upscale restaurant in the U.S. Honestly, overall it was one of the best dining experiences of my life. Find this hidden gen on the Castries harbor, you will not be dissapointed.
