We stayed at the Mountain in before and after our Kilimanjaro climb. Very nice swimming pool and relax area. Can get a taxi into Moshi from the hotel to explore. The Reception staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

After our return from Kili we had an enjoyable evening at the live;ly Terrace of Indoitaliano. We ordered pizza, chicken tikka masala and lots of garlic and plain naan. All was very nice, although personally I enjoyed the Indian food the most. Portions are quite big, so make sure you don't order too much (which we unfortunately did). Easy access, every taxi driver knows the reataurant. Try it, you will like it!

For quality food, coffee and tea visit Kili-Java today. Conveniently located on Kaunda street,Nakumatt Building. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a variety of Milkshakes, Fresh fruit smoothies and Ice-cream sundaes .Wireless Internet is available.
Kili Java has now moved to the Nakumatt building just off the clock roundabout behind Kahawa House(the big tower block)the same food offerings as before in an open Seating area by the main entrance to Nakumatt. Prices are reasonable and food pretty good. Many expats hang out there and it's a great place for new people to Moshi to ask for advice.

Union Coffee offers one of town's best espressos, good quality (if somewhat overpriced) light meals Western style, and tasteful and calm surroundings amidst the most bustling part of Moshi. That I rate it somewhat lower than last time is mainly due to the fact that it is no longer one of a kind. At present there are a number of joints that offer similar advantages at some or lower prices. All the same- worth stepping in if you're around!

Set within an open and welcoming compound within a secure environment, we welcome you to come and relax over a cup of Kilimanjaro Arabica coffee or to enjoy freshly prepared food. The ambiance is African, the music international and the atmosphere relaxing.
So we ate breakfast and lunch here on our recent visit to Moshi, and quite frankly I thought it was awesome.
Great coffee, great cooked breakfast (with the strange Moshi eggs with almost white yolks), good service all spoken in English.
Lunch, I had salad with beef, and it was perfectly well cooked with stacks of Avocado on the side (very much in season and there are Avo trees all over the place).
Highly recommended, sit outside if the weather is good, cheap and wholesome.

International cuisine restaurant with great Kilimanjaro coffee, Milkshakes and fresh made juices! Beer and wine are available. Our menu ranges from burgers and sandwiches to full course meals and delicious cakes and cookies. Our patrons can enjoy free wifi provided by RahaSpot and free parking. Every Sunday we provide Brunch from 10am till 4pm. Mon-Fri: 7.30Am to 10pm, Sat-Sun: 08.30Am-10pm. We are located in the old General Tyres Building.
They were closed. The sign was in Swahili, so I don't know why it was closed other than the fact that the tourist season had not yet started. We have gone here the past few years and never seen it closed.
It was a disappointment.
Hopefully it will reopen.

Came here for breakfast, the place is really pretty.
The service was fast and the people were friendly.
The touches of cinnamon in the coffee were delicious (especially after a lot of days of instant coffee on the mountain).
Food was good and they have avocado toast!
Went again on the next day because it was better than the breakfast in our hotel.

Located in the heart of Moshi Town, the place has cozy garden. The menu covers almost everything known to man (burgers, pasta, mexican, breakfast, sandwiches, baked goods, pizza, veggie). We had breakfast and pizza, both were decent. The coffee was good - Tanzania is a coffee growing country but we came from Kili and were dying for decent espresso and machiato. The WIFI that was one of the reasons to go there (per recommendation by friends) did not operate during our visit. Probably on of Moshi's attractive places for visitors and tourists.

Pamoja Cafe, home to "Moshi's Best Burgers", is a chilled out and funky Rasta Bar, serving great local and western food, cold beer and cocktails. Located in the heart of Moshi, close to several hotels and hostels, Pamoja is a favourite spot for locals, expats and tourists alike. We keep our prices low, our beer cold, our food delicious, our Wifi free and our atmosphere relaxed and friendly. Best of all, all profits from the sale of food go to support Pamoja Tunaweza Women's Centre, which offers affordable medical care, scholarships and business training. Come join us soon and feel the love.
Cheap beers,a place where you can meet people and socialize with locals if your foreigner, tourist coming for mount trekking in Kilimanjaro always go at pamoja for dinner and drinks. Its the only place where you can meet Masai people.
