Food is tasty and so fresh and good . Already visit it before at April and my opinion still the same good about food. But drinks and i mean juice it need a reconsidering from the owner because it's including a big amount of water. Service also should be better . Waiting time is quite long even not so much people there. Although a very good tasty food .

I went here just once during my stay, and i ordered a Sandwich and a fruit juice.. the service time is ok. But as far as food quality was concerned, i did not like it.
I would rather try other places.. Staffs were nice though.
It's just that i did not like the taste and quality of the food which i got for what i have paid for. Disappointment for me.. Management should think about upgrading the food quality.

Symphony Lagoon is a Multi Cuisine Family Restaurant by Symphony Group Of Restaurants. We have been serving our customers for more than 20 years, hence our brand "Symphony(R)" is the oldest existing restaurant chain in the Capitol City of Maldives. And we are here to serve you..
I’ve been on Maafushi for a week, and it’s one of two restaurants that I have bothered returning to. The food on this island is hit or miss, and everyone else seems to have the exact same menu. The two exceptions are the restaurant at Stingray Inn and the Symphony Lagoon.
Symphony has a wonderful interior decor and attentive servers. Their juices are fantastic, my favorites being watermelon and pineapple. I tried and really liked their Lebanese chicken meal, although I wished they hadn’t added mayonnaise to it, especially since the menu photo didn’t have any. Despite the snafu, the dish was flavorful and filling. They even managed to jazz up the chicken on their chicken and chips dish, which I had twice.
Four stars because of their odd (to me) additions to food where the menu displays something totally different. I had banana fritters and ice cream for dessert one night, and once again for some odd reason, they added honey on top of the banana; no mention of honey as an addition on the menu and I’ve had this dessert in a few other countries without it. I would strongly suggest ASKING your customers beforehand if they want additions that are not featured as a part of the dish they’re expecting. I happen to hate mayo and honey.
On top of being one of the better options, their prices are also the best on the island compared to other restaurants that I visited-and I went to quite a few over the course of a week. Definitely worth a visit.

WhiteShell Restaurant is located right on the Beach at Maafushi Island. You can enjoy your breakfast and dinner, while enjoying the spectacular view of the Maldives ocean, and white sand. If you're lucky, you could be enjoying the view of the dolphins swimming early in the morning.
This unpretentious little restaurant is located just in front of the beach. The place is unique-with unpaved floor covered with sand. The menu is simple. The food is surprisingly descent and is one of the cheaper priced restaurant (when compared to other restaurants in Maafushi). I end up eating here a few times while staying in Maafushi.

Taste: The food here is very normal. What I meant by normal is the taste, it okay. If you are on Maafushi there are many options to eat at. The prices are almost same everywhere. So I believe these restuarant should go an extra mile to please their guests else they will loose out. There were many guests in our hotel including me who went to find other options to eat.
Service: The service is also not the best. In a buffet dinner it is very important to fill out empty dishwhen required. This was not done properly.
Variety: Most guests here are from Asian countries and everyone found the items on the list not to be good enough. I agree they are offering a big menu but when I start eating I won't be interested to eat 3 kinda salads which sounds great but doesn't taste that great. Main course has 2 options and one rice. Desserts with big names were actually brownie with some sugar water. Everyday there is only one fish served "Tuna"
Extra: The best thing is the live counter (all restaurants have it). They were served as usual Tuna fish.

Since Maldives is a Muslim country and alcoholic drinks are banned in this country, the floating bar and safari is one of the hidden places in Maldives to enjoy some alcoholic drinks. Nothing special but it is a good hideaway, enjoying the sea breeze while sipping away your drinks at the upper deck of the cruise. Should at least try it once when you are in Maldives.

Absolutely great chilli fish and devilled fish! This is a modest restaurant on a side street of the island, but the food here is fantastic! If you're looking for local food and very good prices, this is the place to go. We were here about 4-5 times. The Srilankan cook knows his thing :-)

Me and My husband went to eat at Arena Beach hotel although we were staying at a different hotel. The price was reasonable. The food was great. The view was simply amazing. We ordered Tom Yum soup which was not only tasty but the presentation was also superb. Highly recommended.

Hot Bites is located directly opposite of bikini Beach where tourists are allowed to swim ..prices are low enough when you compared to the other restaurants of Maafushi Island.
It looks like a cafe , with plastic tables and chairs but if you do not leave the beach area and eat someting light , kinda sneak , surely HOT BITES is the best choice for you..about service time , the small cafe is faster then the other restaurants of Islands , please remember this : waiting time for an order on MAAFUSHI is about ONE HOUR ...when you get your order before you die of starvation ,keep it in your mind :) :) :)
