This is a bakery/caf'è situated in the center of Lom. I was surprised it wasn't listed. It is a very nice place, and a must for those who just need a coffeebrake and a snack. The manager used to be a Chef, and still is offcourse, but he started this bakery and launched a cookbook in 2009. The book was awarded "norwegian cookbook of the year" in 2009. I really hope you list this one, together with the restaurant in the Fossheim Turisthotell.

We had a 3 dish meal (salmon, beef and assorted dessert) here supported by local brewed beer. It was very tasty and presented in a delicious way. High quality food made with patience and of persons knowing their profession. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed and informal with decorations and equipment from the older time - wood craft. The server was friendly and service minded, as well as presenting each dish in an excellent way. Expensive but really worthy experience.

Pizza, taco, burgers, sandwiches - this cafe offers generous portions of a variety of dishes for lunch or simple dinner. The meals don`t call for a lot of "wow"s, but the dishes we had tasted satisfactory. Seemed to be very popular by locals. Also have very nice icecream, some cakes, and various coffes. However nearly 10 usd for an iced coffe really feels like a rip off. Also have beer and wine - wine around 12 usd a glass
Outdoor Seating near the road, but also at the roof top. Not tested, as we were there on a rainy day
Very friendly staff. Changed a dish for me for free, although it was my mistake when ordering

In our dining we can offer local tradition dishes and drinks from small-scale brewery in Gudbrandsdalen and Sogn og Fjordane. Our dishes are serverert with locally produced accessories such as sour cream, jams, juices and breads. You can be served inside the store or outside in the stunning Priest Waterfall Terrace - along with a drink. Welcome!
Try the mixed grill. It is a large portion and it tastes very good. The best food you ever get in Norway and it comes with a reasonable price. The views from the outdoor Seating area isn't bad either.
We found it thanks to Tripadvisor and we strongly recommend it.

we had lunch in this place. we ordered the vegetable pizza, polla mexicana and the amore special. The pizzas were huge and packed with ingredients. They tasted very good. The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance and was well worth the stop. Good service

We got our accommodation in the main house and it was really smelly as it was on top of the restaurants kitchen. The room was nice and cozy and the bed was very confortable. They placed a crib for free for our baby. The only issue was the smell of beer in the room and sticky floor (probably spilled beer).
Breakfast was great with a lot options.

The menu is limited but the food is well prepared and beautifully presented. The focus is on using locally sourced and produced items. Staff are welcoming and are service oriented, willing to put in that little extra to ensure that one has an enjoyable dining experience.
That said, Brimibue is not a cheap place to eat. Expect to pay a minimum of NOK 100 for a light lunch/snack, depending on what you order. A salmon dinner for two, complete with a glass of white wine, dessert and coffee, costs a little over NOK 800. Not something one wants to do every day but acceptable for that occasional splurge.
Attached to the restaurant is a boutique that stocks a variety of jams and jellies, ramslauk (a type of herb) purée, butter, cheeses, etc. Although delicious and locally made, many of the items in the shop (especially the non-food items) are highly priced and appear to ride on the popularity of the owner Arne Brimi.
