Apart from waiting to be served drinks in their little front bar, the food they provided was simply to die for. Lovely smoked salmon and fillet stead with a citron tart that I did not eat as don't eat puddings. Then the cheese arrived along with a well decanted 1967 port brought in by my friend. The other bottle of port provided by Allo's was excellent. A popular restaurant that you must go to. I know they do food theme nights on a Thursday which are very well attended. I am not sure why our friend has not taken to this restaurant before!! We will be back.

Simple Excellent Italian Food at a very good price , hidden gem , well worth a visit .
This place is well worth dropping in to if you are hungry and in the area.
It is run by true Italians who like to cook proper Italian food.
My self and my family were warmly welcomed at the premises and were pleased with the choice and quality of the food on offer and the taste....mmmmmm...great.
Staff were friendly and not in a hurry to rush us through, even though it was coming up to closing time.
Overall well worth a visit if you are in the area.

The Restaurant Forms Part Of The Hotel...
Beautiful relaxed environment with attentive service with a lovely atmosphere. The food is well cooked using the best local ingredients and also cooked to order. Fabulous steaks but portions are a little on the large size so you had better skip lunch. Very well priced French wines. Great place to stay too.

Bar, pub
This is definitely a quantity over quality establishment! The service was good especially as 14 of us arrived unannounced in the middle of the day. There is loads of food, even when some of the group ordered half portion of the stew, there was more than you would get in some other restaurants full portions. However the quality wasn't as good as it could have been

We dropped in for an early evening meal. The main course, purportedly lamb cooked with ginger, seemed to consist of a few (very few!) pieces of meat served up in an identical brown sauce to that utilised for one of our vegetable first courses, and was devoid of any taste of ginger, as we informed them. For small portions of mediocre food, we did not consider the prices to be good value, and the décor and setting certainly need some attention. The only plus point was the friendly and attentive service from a local (non-Indian) waitress. We'll eat Irish next time in Listowel.

The quality of the food here was very good and very well presented. The cakes were lovely and too much of a temptation! The staff were friendly and accomodating at all times. It was such a nice place that I came here many times during the Listowel Writers Week and was not disappointed!

We offer authentic Chinese traditional dishes and delicious in taste of Irish China, Thailand, Malaysia.
Had the early bird offer, had the BBQ ribs, beef satay and ice-cream, my boyfriend had the sesame prawn toast, chicken curry and ice-cream. Honestly one-off the nicest Chinese meals I have ever had. The server was a real character, so friendly and funny. Would highly recommend this Chinese restaurant especially due to the fact that they offer a gluten free option.

Stayed at John R's B&B last week. Could not believe the room. Was really top quality and better than many hotels we have stayed in. The room was large and well decorated and very modern and contemporary. We were above the deli where we had breakfast the next morning. This was cooked to order and was delicious. The only downside was that we did not have a longer stay as would have liked to have sampled the lunch. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Would like to visit again.
