Great in all respects, the meal was excellent, from the amuse bouche to the final petits fours. Special mention to the Miel de Briere starter. Service is very good and the setting is nice too. One of the best tables in La Baule.

nice little creperie, inventive dishes, staggering ice creams (the buckwheat one is amazing), warm welcome, the service is perfect and the creperie itself is charming, blooming with creativity (art exhibit inside, neckless and paintings).

We are staying in La Baule and were riding bikes to Le Pouligen at lunchtime. On TripAdvisor recommendation we went to Barapom, which is very understated. It has a simple menu but is thoroughly delicious, we had both galettes and crepes and enjoyed everything. Definitely worth a visit!

We chose the 3 course menu for euro32 and were very impressed with the choice. Being fish lovers we went for the daily special and the pot au feu. Fish was expertly cooked and tasted of the sea. Very attentive staff who looked after us. We would recommend to all fish lovers.

We tried this restaurant after Reading the other reviews and what a find. The other reviews just sum it up perfectly. The location is just perfect overlooking the small harbour and out to sea, the restaurant itself is small but cosy and the outside Seating area is lovely. The menu is mostly fish but with a couple of meat dishes. Each day they have a couple of fish special dishes - these are heavenly - so good in fact we went every day for lunch - 5 times I might add.
The owner is the chef in the kitchen and his wife works in the restaurant - she was so helpful. I must also add don't forget the desserts, homemade and to die for.

We visited on impulse at lunchtime, and were thrilled at the quality of cooking. Very modestly priced for top level cooking.

Came to this place at 3:15pm, read lunch menu on the board and decided to have late lunch. Waiter seats us outside and gave us lunch menu. 5 min later older lady, who behave as an owner, step out from restaurant, remove lunch menu from the board, then came to our table yanked lunch menu and told us to order from more expensive dinner menu. In the process she was just rude, suggesting that we should have ceaser salad… We left.

My husband had read about this restaurant and wanted to try it during our recent trip to La Baule. It turned out to be one of the best meals of our holiday!
