I was invited to this beautiful place with a great view over the Valley of Emmen (Emmental). The scenery was as to be expected in this part of Switzerland and the service was outstanding.
Very friendly staff paying high attention to details and guest's needs. Always available when ever need, but also discretely in the background when engaged in a conversation with the business partner.
The food was carefully selected, prepared and also presented.
the restaurant Moosegg is a place to go when you want to experience Swiss tradition on it's highest level.

We have visited the Turm Garden twice and each time the service personnel was so friendly and helpful. They have the gift of offering Asian friendliness and warmth in Switzerland. The decoration in the restaurant is Chinese. Their menus are Asian from different countries and cooked very tasty and beautifully arranged on hot plates.
This time we truly enjoyed the steaming hot Want Tan soup. The Malay duck with curry was delicious and my wife enjoyed her Jasmin tee too. An extra bonus is that the food is served on hot plates. By the way, their menu card gives you a huge variety of meals to choose.
The Restaurant Turm Garden staff have the gift of cooking and serving Asian meals that are somewhat adapted to the European taste, but are still catering to our Asian taste buds. They serves high quality Asian food with a smile. Great Atmosphere, great service and very friendly. We will return. Thank you Turm Garden staff. :-)

We went here with a group of more than 10 people. The service was fast with friendly personnel. Even though the restaurant was full with people ordering and eating, the service person was friendly and answered all our questions cordially. This is a good place for big groups or for a date. They also have room to stay overnight.

A really bad experience, I use to travel a lot and sleep often abroad. I never experienced such bad experience...I was asked by the owner to leave the bedroom at 7.30 in the morning after have paid during my arrival the evening before.
He knocked very hard on my door in the morning as in a school college, asking me to hurry up for the breakfast....after it, no time to pack and the reason was that he had a meeting somewhere, I asked if I could leave the bedroom's key somewhere but he started to scream and I suppose no good things in German. No guest reception expertise, no professionalism. To avoid.

My husband and I were visiting friends in Bowil but around 12.30 we wanted to stop somewhere to have a light snack and a drink. From the road we saw this beautiful old wooden house with a lovely garden and decided that this was the place. Lovely couple: Sylvia and Urs, good service, the cheese cake was delicious and so was the apple juice. The house is beautifully restored, it is a typical historical Emmentaler House. The cafe situated on the first floor is decorated with old typewriters, billing machines, pottery, old sofas and with each season the decorations change. Downstairs there is a museum and a souvenir store with lots of pottery. When in the area will be visiting for sure.

We've been going to this restaurant at Blapbach for many years, run by the Hofer family. I can't be entirely without bias as my opinion is formed by many years of holiday memories, but I have eaten here very happily in the past and in the last year too. They serve good solid Bernese food, with lots of varieties of sausages and, of course, the excellent rosti which I can't recommend enough: a cake of melting grated potato crisped in butter. Massive meringues and ice cream confections - and the Blapbach coffee (with schnapps and whipped cream) - finish off the meal. Park up, go for a walk in the beautiful Emmental, and enjoy the restaurant. Did I mention the view? You get to experience the best of the crinkling landscape that makes the Emmental so special.
