Mediterranean food & Pizza Restaurant in Kornić, Island of Krk. It is situated only a few kilometers from Punat and Town of Krk.
I found this konoba here on TripAdvisor and we went here thanks to its good rating. It fulfilled my expectations. I had lignji on grill, they ware soft and delicious. My son took cevapcici and wife pizza. I tasted all but only pizza was nothing special. Price is decent and we ware served by a lovely waitress.

We visited this restaurant with our 3 teenager kids. We had to wait a little while but got a nice big table. We started with some ham, olives and cheese for all and the mussels and soup for us. The mussels were very good, the fishsoup was rather flavourless. After that we had pizza for the youngest (definitely not the best pizza in town) and meat from the grill for us. We asked very rare, it was kind a rare, and the taste was good. The meat was tender and had flavour. French fries, and mixed salat were ok. Service is quite chaotic and not very fast, but it didn't bothered us. For all this it was a 1000 kuna. That's ok with 5 people. We will come back.

We got the recommendation to go for Galija for some truffle noodles and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is at the upper end of the old city so it's not the first restaurant you might spot and it lacks the view on the habour.
But it provided some nice food in a rustic interior. The noodles were great, the home made bread was delicious.
Highly recommended

Something new...the restaurant. Something old...konoba. A lot of blue...terrace. As you can see it is not just the wedding day...Nada has it all too. In few words probably the best contemporary menu which tries to bond old and new on the island also probably the best food you can have on the island and most definitely (regardless of a formidable competition) the best food you can have in Vrbnik.
Lets begin with negative...subjectively negative. The restaurant...not to my taste. After day on the beach in some secluded bay which there are many on Krk even very near Vrbnik...after walking through old and narrow stone paved streets to get to the restaurant...white and modern and surgical look of the restaurant looks a bit sterile to me. I would not have anything against it if the place would be located in some bigger urban area...but in Vrbnik probably the most picturesque place on the island (and I am talking just about the old town here)...just does not fit if you ask me. Luckily the owners are smart and willing to compromise. All the food which is prepared in restaurant kitchen can be served and enjoyed in konoba. And that is a key to entire experience.
Cooler atmosphere of konoba for appetizer and main dish and then sunset and big blue on the Terrace for dessert and digestive, maybe some cigar or the pipe. That is the recipe for a great and hedonistic evening.
What you have to try...if you are going just for one appetizer make it salted and cured fish. Rustic enough, packs great real flavor punch and goes more than well with delicious home made bread which they offer. Prsut and local cheese are good alternative but if you are considering another appetizer octopus carpaccio is probably the nest you can order. Main dish...one has to be surlice...do not miss an opportunity to order local staple. Surlice with lamb stew is top pick if you ask me. If you want to go with white fish they prepare it great also...so you will hardly find a bad or mediocre dish. For the dessert...well...anything and everything you can since almost all the desserts are delicious. If you have to chose one then make it integral pie with apple and cinnamon served with fruit sauce and vanilla ice cream.
Wine...if you do not like ti cold and light...then I would suggest to take a bottle. Myself...when in Rome...order Zlahtina. And yes it is very light and served cold and with richer food as surlice with lamb stew ti is most probably not match made in heaven...but during summer when it is hot outside and when eating hearty and salty food one (or in my case more) glasses of cold and light wine does make me feel lighter and more eager to reach for another glass.
Price or bang for a buck...probably not the best you have seen or tried but this is not a joint in which you will go every time you feel hunger. This should be a treat...and it should be treated that way. If you will take 1 appetizer and one main dish and one dessert per person wit lets say one aperitif one digestive and 1/2 l of wine per person you are probably finish somewhere between 35 and 40 EUR per person...which is reasonable in my opinion taking in consideration the level on which the place operates and above all the quality of the food.
You get the picture until now...this is not a place where you go and grab some food fast just to fill the stomach...this is not the place which serves fuel for your body. This place serves proper food for your body and for your soul and if you are smart enough to appreciate it and if you take yourself enough time and let yourself enjoy it properly it will not just be a meal but the experience by which you might remember entire vacation or time spent on beautiful island.

Had a great fish lunch. Location is great, next to the sea. We were there preseason so it wasn't crowded, and had a really good local atmosphere. Tuna stakes were good, but scallops were really excellent.
The waiter was really friendly and helpful.
Prices are reasonable.

You have this pace listed as a hotel, but we always go just to their restaurant as we stay at another place on the island. I believe the restaurant deserves a separate listing. It is excellent.
Good position, lovely Mediterranean outdoor place with a lot of mediterranean plants. Food is very good (mostly traditional meals with a lot of fish and peka). Kristina is excellent restaurant lady. She knowes everything about hotel, restaurant and surraundings.

Although a limited menu, what they do offer is very good standard. The restaurant has a lovely ambience, decked out in fishing related items and located in a quirky building with arched entrances. We enjoyed the food, perhaps a little more expensive than others in the area, but packed with charm. The mixed fish plate was really interesting - different to the usual tourist mixed plate - all the fish was fried- but very lightly so it was not greasy or detracted from the flavour - it included anchovies, white fish and hake

We booked a 4-hours guided trip to Vrbnik from Crikvenica. One of the topics of the guide was the so called "wine tasting" of a cantine. Actually it was offered only a glass of wine at this restaurant, and the guide suggested us to eat here. I decided to stay and eat. I ordered a starter course of marinated sardines and a first course of Surlice (croatian homemade pasta) with shrimps. It was good but they have much more choice of meat dishes rather than fish.

The waiter there is very pushy and will make you to order food of his choice. Which would be acceptable in case if food is good. But it was not, as grilled plate with squids and fish was way too greasy and not tasty at all.
Final invoice was also too expensive for such place - 80EUR for three of us (plate, fries, 2 beers, mineral water included).
Don't recommend to go there.

Atmosfere in the restaurant isn't something that will bring the guests in but food should be! we ordered pizza because didn't want to eat meat or fish. pizza was very pale and it could be cooked a bit longer! An average restaurant with not so average prices!
