The first thing that will amaze you about this place is the ambience. Classic Chinese interiors makes this place ideal for a delicious Chinese meal. The food although bit overpriced is quite good and will suit the taste buds of any foodie. If you plan to have dinner here, it is advised to go bit early else you might get into the long waiting list.

Puri has changed so its people, its cuisine and taste. In our childhood the food option was limited to maach Bhaat (fish curry and rice - traditional Bengali). As we grew up, our choice of restaurant is often dominated by our kids. So my 13yr son found this joint by looking at TripAdvisor.
To be honest, the reviews were a bit surprising as to even know an authentic Italian joint exists in Puri.
Before coming to food, let me tell you finding out this restaurant is a bit challenging. If you are driving down the chakratirtha road, after a mile look for an Axis Bank ATM on your right. Honey bee is hardly 30 yards away from the ATM on your left. The saloon adjacent to the restaurant is more prominent than the restaurant I must say.
The decor has almost everything to feel different except the staffs. They are not courteous to say the least. Being associated with a restaurant chain, I feel an urge to meet the owner if possible. So I ordered a double espressos and asked for the owner. The staff was aloof and directed me to the Terrace. I reached out to the owner and informed the phone number published in TripAdvisor is wrong. Surprisingly his attitude was as aloof as his other staffs. He was busy smoking and chatting with two of his friend. I also wanted to tell him a lot but he was reluctant.
Now coming to the food. We ordered Hawaiian fiesta with extra cheese and extra bacon and pizza quatro stagioni without egg. Both large size. We have specifically asked for think crust. However, what was served was the typical dominos type thick pizza bread. The amount of bacon even after asking extra, was almost invisible. Taste of the pizza was not bad however it was not extraordinary as we thought it would be. The biggest disappointment came after the pizza. Choices of dessert was limited to few cakes displayed at the entrance. We ordered a double chocolate cake and what was served to us was a stale old piece of brittle smelly bread. When we pointed out that to the staff initially he denied saying it is a freshly baked one. After a small argument he accepted the cake was old. This was not expected from the third ranked restaurant in Puri.
Here goes my overall ranking : 2.5
Food : 3
Dessert : ..
Ambiance : 4
Courteousness : 2
Decor : 3.5
My experience with TripAdvisor ranking had been extremely good. But this was a disaster. It may happen that the restaurant has a different target customer and we were not fall into that TG. Anyway, I felt the restaurant lacks proper respect photographs so tried clicking a few with my phone. Hope they will help.

An atmospheric restaurant in a garden setting. We found more western turists than we meet during the last week turing east india(Bengal and Odessa). The food was tasty and less spicy than the norm for indian restaurants.
When we asked for the bill the waiter came to our tablet and took out his notebook and made some calculation and gave a figure for us to pay. As we did not get some of our order we had to correct a bill we never saw.... still not sure we payed the correct amount.
Plus for atmospher and food but certainly not for payment.

Pros: Tasty and Delicious Food. Staffs are customers friendly. Ambiance is very good, feels amid nature very close to beach. Cost of food though not cheap but not too high. One can order the food and have a walk on the beach till it is served.
Cons: Location bit difficult to get but not too hard if you use navigation. But some kind of display board on the main road would be of help to new comers. Can be developed or upgraded and scope are there.
I liked the place on my first visit, shall visit again.

The Gajapati is an elusive bar cum restaurant inside the Holiday Resort hotel. The interior theme is based on the King of Puri to give that royal ambiance. The food are very sumptuous and are specially cooked by the chefs. Coming to Puri and visiting the restaurant is a must try.
The Gajapati is one of the two restaurants of Hotel Holiday Resort in Puri. Did not get a chance to dine-out here as it was not available to regular guests of the hotel as the whole hotel was busy hosting a marriage party. It seats around 40-50 guests at a time and is quite dimly lit. Serves mostly North Indian and Bengali/Oriya cuisine. Since the kitchen is common so from food we ordered in room, it can be assumed that it is more or less ok. Quantity is little less as compared to rates they charge. Overall nothing special to boast about.

Hotel New Parijat Restaurant offers a great value for money dining option at Puri. Though it serves the Bengali cuisines, there are Chinese and Mughlai delicacies too. The quantity and quality of the food perfectly matches with the price. The “fish” dishes in particular are very very tasty.
There are different floors, and ample dinning space. The waiting period too, is much less; comparing to the other Puri Restaurants.
They also “pack” the food parcels efficiently- if one considers to take their supplies to their respective hotel rooms. The South India dishes too, are very nice.

The bakery has three more locations namely - Grand Road, Main Sea Beach and on College Square.
Visited this bakery as we were staying in Holiday-Resort. Items were priced reasonably and good in taste. However, there were not much option to choose form and the coffee was just average.Thank you very much for your review through Trip Advisor. We are glad that you liked the taste of our products and will make sure we will work hard to put on sale more options to choose from.

FUSION is an extraordinary restaurant themed on the mix design of modern and ancient style .You can enjoy the panoramic view of the beach from the restaurant's glass front .You can order from various cusines with special desserts from the in house bakery.
The place is good with nice food. The staff is a bit slow and may make you wait for long for your orders and other stuff. The ambience is great with sea facing restaurant.

Good points
Good Bengali restaurant but slightly costly. We went there for dinner. Cooking style and preparations are surely one of the best in Puri. Food was very tasty. Lot of customizations and mix & match are possible.
Make sure to ask the quantity of the food before ordering as the cost may not suggest the quantity so take time to understand the order items.
You may need to reach there early because at times its crowded and you may have to wait in queue as the capacity of the restaurant is not too big.
Have a great Bong food.
