Locally owned, family operated cafe specialising in top quality coffee, teas and delicious home-style chef meals. Available for catering and small to medium private functions. A must-visit in the South Burnett!
Friendly & helpful staff complemented by some very tasty food & coffee all at reasonable prices. However the decor and Seating is looking rather tired. A little bit of TLC would certainly lift this cafe and enhance its potential. And yes, I would go there...MoreHi Paul, Thanks so much for the feedback. Were working on upgrades to our Seating. Come in and see the updated overall look of the cafe it's very friendly and inviting. We hope to see you again soon ?

What a surprise in a little country town. Great, fresh, affordable food with great variety, cooked in the wok right in front of you.
Service is usually quick and the food is reasonable. Would be better if they had eftpos rather than the çash only system.

This is the restaurant at the Burke and WIlls Motor Inn. It has a very extensive menu and it open to the public as well as the guests 7 nights a week.
Let me make this easy for you if your searching for a great meal and i don't mean adequate i mean great then please give this place a try.
The food was cooked to absolute perfection and the servings were great plus the service was outstanding for a country restaurant.
Prices were fair the only little problem i had was they weren't to sure how many drinks i had and I'm sure they charged me more but who knows so they could be a bit more organized with that.

On a drive through Kingaroy, we asked one of the locals where would be good to have lunch (on a Sunday), and this is where they recommended.
The staff member that served us was very friendly & recommended the hot seafood dish to share. It was tasty and very fresh as was the cheese & bacon garlic bread, oh so cheesy! Yummmm!
Price was also reasonable $38 for a share meal, bread & 2 cokes.

If for no other reason than to sample a sip or two of their splendid wines and chat with your your very friendly hosts, this winery is definitely worth a visit; but you will also be very pleasantly surprised by stunning views across the vines and valley below. I also recommend you stop here for a bite to eat; they do a most excellent cheese and meat platter with a delicious sausage made by a local butcher. Aid this yummy snack southwards with a bottle or two of their wine, there is a fine selection of both red & white and the inner man or women will depart very contented. Tough luck though for the designated driver!!

Modern, affordable dining, with open air beer-garden, heated and air-conditioned family friendly restaurant.
Lots of racing and betting options, a good range of drinks, interesting street art in the courtyard and of course local characters

Sunday on a long weekend in Kingaroy, there are not many options. So we stumbled across this place after walking around town looking for somewhere to eat that was open. The original service was ok, maybe they were short staffed or something, just not super friendly.
The food came out quickly and it was fresh and actually nice. Nobody ordered anything unusual, just the typical country breakfast. Bacon eggs beans stuff like that. It was a big, cheap and good. The waitress that bought the food out was friendly. Overall a nice place to eat.

Stop here often when in town for a quick drink and most times something from the hotbox. Made to order meals also available. The old corner store type business but with a very good twist. Staff are very friendly and courteous and the price ranges for the food available will suit all budgets. Well presented business and very clean surrounds.

Came in for early lunch and we were able to get lunch even though 15 minutes too early, points for that.
The place seems to have been partly painted recently but with only 3 pictures on the walls and tables pushed to the sides, it is very echoy and seems to lack soul. Wait staff was friendly, prices a bit much based on portion sizes. Chicken burger: small fresh bun, with cranberry sauce on the top, chicken fillet was a tenderloin cut in half, some salad and 3 small slices of packet brie. for $19.90. The black board has some specials scrawled across it, looks unprofessional, gentleman bringing food from kitchen needs more deodorant for the job. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to visit this place. I understand there are new managers, so hopefully it will get better once they settle in and put their own stamp on the place.

Cassis was a bit difficult to find at night, maybe a few more signs would be helpful once you turn off the main road.
However the food was excellent, and different to most other restaurants. The lamb rump with macadamia cream and currants was sensational. For dessert I chose chocolate and coconut mousse with passion fruit sorbet and raspberries...yum!
The service was excellent as well.
