While in Khulna, Bangladesh, for a week, we would stop for lunch at Shawarma House. We would sometimes eat there or sometimes take out. The food was good and there was a variety of options on the menu. The only caution is to make sure you know how spicy the item is that you are ordering (i.e., some items were spicy even though their typical preparation would not be spicy at all).

Nothing much to look at but the food here is pretty good and dirt cheap. All the usual bangladeshi fare is available and the fried snacks are freshly cooked out front. Staff speak little or no english but there is a sign in english to help you choose or simply point at whatever anyone else is eating that looks good!

This small restaurant by the main KDA Avenue, and close by long distance bus counters, has limited menu, but of good value. It serves quick bites of kebab, BBQ chicken, burgers, and sandwiches. There are only a few tables, but is air-conditioned.
A quarter BBQ chicken cost TK90, while a club Sandwich is TK 90. I like the crispy and well stuffed mogolai - one piece is sufficient for two persons.
They seems to be doing a roaring business. While I was there for dinner, many customers came and went. The waiters are very attentive.

I spent one night at this place. Until new places are open this seems to be the best in town as I was told but nowadays the hotel charm has faded away. Th reception is very tiny and not so much of welcoming, lift is small and room has funny smell of fungus and age. But if you need to crash for a night this is still okay. The restaurant food was better than other places. Be in time for breakfast otherwise there is nothing left to eat.

The First Rooftop Cafe & Restaurant of khulna. Offering the most magnificent river view ensured with proper food quality and Service.
I love traveling and the first thing that I consider before visiting any place is how their food is. Also, I would like to research in advance about restaurants. This time around I took an advice from one of my best friends, he told me to try citylight cafe and I am glad that I did. The quality of food and hospitality is second to none in Khulna city. Location is great. The place is very clean. Outer view of almost entire Khulna city from their rooftop is amazing. Undoubtedly, this is the best place to eat in Khulna city with so many varieties of food and drink to select from. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family!

বিরিয়ানি, বার-বি-কিউ, কাবাব, দেশী খাবার আর সুন্দর পরিবেশ। Combining these, we are ready to provide you with a wonderful experience. দেশী kitchen, Cooking for you...
Deshi kitchen is a nice place to taste Bengali cuisine. Their service is good enough. But you should think twice if you order biriyani! Taste is good according to taste & quantity.

Bistro C is a very nice place to take a visit. You can find different options to order. I have tasted piazza, shawarma, burger and different types of pastry there.
In mmy opinion Bistro C is the best place to taste a desert in khulna.
Price is also reasonable I think.

The restaurant is designed like an underground cave. It was opened just 6 months ago. The restaurant is accessed from the street along a long covered walkway with umbrellas on the ceiling. At the entrance you descend to the lower level where there is Seating on the same level as the kitchen. On the second floor there is additional Seating and even a kids playpen.
We were greeted with some cool green mocktails on being seated. The food is really amazing for Khulna. There is pizza, burgers and pasta. The items we ordered were excellent. We had the sausage pizza with a cave special pasta plate. The pasta came out a bit spicy with french fries and two kebabs with chicken and onions.
Very reasonable prices and we felt welcome and looked after. Definitely worth a visit with friends or family.
