An oasis of peace in the village of Kavos, situated in a location like no other restaurant in the resort, being the only restaurant on the beach, serving a variety of local dishes and fish and seafood, something which has always been a specialty of the business from the very first day it opened in 1910! Run by the same family this family run business has kept the same standards it has always had, which is why it is well known not just in Kavos, but on the whole island of Corfu.

We wanted to go here after Reading great reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed! Stunning location right on the beach and the atmosphere is fantastic. The restaraunt itself is beautiful inside typically Greek and everything we wanted. Food was superb..George the owner was a delight to chat to and hear his stories of Greece. Loved it here so much went on our last night too during our 7 night stay. If you get the chance before the season ends..visitng here is an absolute must. Or definitely one on the list of you are coming next year. Thank you everyone as Roussos for a fab time!

Decided to eat some dinner here as we had read the good reviews on trip advisor...we were greatly disapointed. We were told that we would get a free starter and dessert with our main meals. Starters were lovely. Ordered lasagne for main which was very disappointing just a slab of flavourless mush with some frozen french fries. Waited around for about 30 minutes thinking the waiter would give us a dessert menu...how wrong. In the end we got fed up of waiting and asked the waiter for the bill, which also took us a good while to get his attention. The waiter gave us the bill with no mention of the desserts. Disapointed by the service and very overpriced for the quality of our meals. Had nicer meals with better service for a smaller price in other restaurants in Kavos.

The owner (Dimitri) couldn’t be more friendly, the food is great and the location, whilst not traditionally picturesque, is very pleasant. We were staying just round the corner so there was a convenience factor as well. Starters were generous as were the main courses and vegetarians are well catered for. Fish (Dorado) was well seasoned and well cooked. Traditional Greek fare was the same food that Dimitri and his family eat - delicious. The home made wines are excellent and not too heady - important when Dimitri keeps trying to give you as much as you’ve asked for again and on the house!! We ate here four times in a week and would happily return again. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Dimitri.

My husband and I were so lucky to find this wonderful family run Taverna right on the beach, away from the madness of the Kavos strip. All the food prepared by Maria was delicious ..the best we ever tasted! Moussaka..Stifado..seafood pasta..fresh calamari...Meze..all amazing! Yogurt with 5 different fresh fruits, oozing with honey and of course Maria's homemade Baklava was just heaven on a plate! We could also use the pool while we were there and the owner, Vanghelis, his wife Maria and the other Maria who served us were like friends to us..the kindest, loveliest people who made us feel at home and made our holiday special..so much so that we went there everyday and didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back next year!!

Stopped there on our way to Kavos from the airport, so we was quiet hungry, the waiter said he would take care of us because my friend knew him....
Well we was not disappointed, first the bread, sardines, squid, whitebait, came and small salad, we thought we was done, but that was just starters...so then the octopus, calamari, prawns and something else, I can't even remember....Greek salad & fries.... Yum !! we did do well to get through a table of food, the rest my friend doggy bagged it and took it home... the scenery is unbelievable, you are literally touching the water, it so of reminded me of that Shirley Valentine scene.....
We had a few beers and water, the bill was about £60, well worth it....
location, great food, good service and great company, really can't wait to go again... See you next year !!

Loved the food. Iv been here twice. The duck is lovely, service is good. One of the upper class eateries in Kavos so good for a last night meal. Quite a lot more pricey than other places to eat but food is good quality and like I say it's nice as a final night meal

We decided to go in and try TKD's melon drink, it was a must.
Upon entry we had drinks from another club, one of the members of staff kindly let us drink it in there.
The owner came over and took them away from us despite his member of staff allowing it.
We ordered the Melon drink, my friend paid for it, 10Euro which he gave to the member of staff that allowed us in with the drinks. He said he'd sort it.
The owner then turned up with the bill, stating we hadn't paid.. saying he's the only one that takes the money. His staff are clearly pocketing money. This member of staff also denied that we gave him the money.
Watch who you give your money to in this place! False Accusations!
We got kicked out and left quietly.

Fantastic food and awesome service from the waiting staff, who were all polite and helpful. A great meal deal which was order any main dish and get a selected starter and a dessert free. I highly recommend stopping by this place if passing by and check it out, its worth every cent. Definitely worth the visit.
