I've been here a couple of times. The staff is always efficient and friendly. During my last visit I ordered their veggie burger. It's based on beans and hence tasted like beans which is ok. The French fries was way to salty and the accompanying sallad was a bit plain. When the burger and a glass of wine costs around 250 sek, I expect more. It's an ok place for a glass of wine/drink, but I recommend you to eat elsewhere.

Also called by its italian name: Ristorante Michelangelo
The Salmon du Chef in this restaurant might be the best dish served in Karlskrona. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Great value for your money. If you had to pick one restaurant while visiting the city, pick this one.

English Pub situated in the centre of Karlskrona Sweden, well established since several years
This is a pub I've visited many times for beer with friends. It's a standard pub with cozy interior and lots of different beers and whiskeys to choose from. Their food is however mediocre (or even worse than that). During the last visit I opted for the veggie burger which was a dry grey mass of disappointment (187 sek, Coca Cola included). To sum it up, it's a nice place for having a beer but not for eating food.

I've been here many times and every past visit has been OK, no more and no less. I recently revisited this restaurant with 12 of my colleagues. The restaurant asked us to send in our preferred dishes in advance, too make sure that the service would run smoothly. Even though we did this, there was a 15 minute gap between the when the first and last main dish arrived. No one came and asked us if we wanted something more to drink and when we ordered cocktails, they were forgotten.
It's way to expensive for that kind of lousy service. I will not return.

The outdoor area is really nice and good atmosphere a summer evening. The service were quite good and a variety of meat dishes and hamburgers. I took the pulled pork burger and it tasted good, the place is a bit over priced in my taste but over all a good restaurang.

I've been a couple of times in this restaurant. Every time I tried different food and every time I was very satisfied. For the first time in my life I ate escargot and it was delicious. Even the smashed potato that they brought as a side with the fish was excellent. In different visits I ate pepper steak, fish, escargot and pizza. All of them were amazing.
The restaurant is sometimes over booked, therefore you'd better call for a reservation otherwise you may be surprised by how crowded such a place can be in a very small city like Karlskrona.

Just off the main square in Karlskrone, Expresso House has a good location. The intro is comfortable and inviting. Coffee and food are standard expresso house, and so good but not exceptional. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good stop if you like Expresso House.

I've always wanted to visit this place in Karlskrona and I finally had a chance to do so this August. The ice cream is amazing there! For 35 SEK, you get one portion which is like 3 big scoops, 2 portions = 40 SEK, and 3 portions = 45 SEK. One portion is one taste. And they are delicious! What's more, the cones are made on the place. You can sit inside or outside, surrounded by other clients and hungry cute little birds :) I definitely want to go back there!

A very nice little deli/restaurant in central Karlskrona, and a very good choice for both dinner and lunch. The menu may be a little limited but what they served is prepared from the best ingredients and with a lot of professionalism and love. We had the kale risotto on one occasion and the cod with pointed cabbage on another. Both were simple but so well tasting, and served with well paired wines. The owner, from the city of Gothenburg, was very friendly and accommodating even when we showed up outside of the regular lunch and dinner hours and still cooked up a tasty meal for us. Highly recommended and one of Karlskrona's best restaurants in my opinion, along with Sjörök.

The cafe is small and cosy and with a great little assortment of cakes, it is one of the best cafés in Karlskrona. The staff is always friendly and they'll even ask you for a free refill for your coffee. The cakes are all excellent and they also sell bread in a nearby store which is open at noon. The café itself is decorated in a classic Swedish style which adds to the cosyness. The only con with the café is that it can be quiet crowded at prime time and therefore there aren't always an empty table. But going there before or after 14-16 should solve this problem.
