Karaj (Persian: کرج pronounced [kæˈɾædʒ] ( listen)) is the capital of Alborz Province, Iran, and effectively a suburb of Tehran. Although the county hosts a population around 1.97 million, as recorded in the 2016 census, most of the 1,419 sqkm county is rugged mountain, the urban area is the fourth-largest in Iran, after Tehran, Mashhad, and Isfahan. The counties of Eshtehard and Fardis were split off from Karaj county since the previous census.

The restaurant is good with 2 floors and types of food from Iranian and Italian cuisines. Prices are acceptable and their worth against the quality of the foods.
I recommend this place to families and they will enjoy the food and service.
The owner is a very polite and respectful guy and he deals with his clients very well.

This huge restaurant is on Chalus road so there is a 20-30 minute drive up the road considering the traffic and you should expect fresh air and great scenery. It has got both roofed and outdoor Seating areas. The most intriguing feature of the place is the river passing right through it and the long trees. The food, one could say, is fresh and the quality and taste are above average, but never make you particularly go ah! Service is not so bad and quick enough taking into account the size of the place and the number of guests they serve on a daily basis.
They also have a playground for those families with children. Parking on the other hand could be a problem. Their parking space is by far not enough and parking on the side of the road could be dangerous to cross.

I heard of this restaurant from a friend. Before trying it out myself I took my business associates there. The setting is cozy yet elegant. The waitresses are extremely professional. Food is perfect.
I've gone back three times after that for breakfast, brunch and dinner again and I have to say their quality was consistent.

If you are traveling from Tehran to north of Iran, you may use the most popular way that is using your own car and driving via Karaj-Chaloos (Kandovan) road.
At the very first 10 kilometers of this road there are many restaurants. One of the very high quality restaurant in this part of the road is Mirzaei restaurant.
Mirzaei is a big restaurant which serves traditional Iranian foods including main Kebabs.
You can take a seat beside the river which is streaming near basement floor or seat inside the interior space on the ground floor.
I suggest to have a Koobideh Kebab or Barg Kebab.
The restaurant has about 100 seats which half of them are located in exterior space near river.
There is street parking for about 40 cars.

The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing. The food however leaves a lot to be desired. Steak was a thin smashed over-marinated piece of overcooked beef. There was so much cheese on the shrimp that there was only the taste of Cheddar. Rolo which was an over baked calzone only consisted of cheese and pepperoni. Their specialty drinks was just some fruit juice straight from the container and as much ice as they can squeeze in there!

The best Japanese restaurant in Karaj, which is located in a perfectly beautiful and tranquil place. The staff is warm and friendly. They do so much!!! Everything on the menu is great. My favorite is the Philadelphia Roll and Spicy Salmon Roll. I have to say, they are the best Sushi I've ever had. The food took very little time to come out. Every time I visit, I try to bring home the smoked fish or dried, aged and spicy steak, which are really amazing. Moreover, they deliver food as quickly as possible in the area so, If you are a food lover, I highly recommend trying the restaurant's high-quality foods and service.
