I have been to the Mangay restaurant in Brasilia, this one does not get closer to it. The place was small, crowded and the tables very close to each other. The different type of foods were not appealing, provoking you to eat. The traditional "cartola" dish was not ready and we left without eating it. I will go back to it in Brasilia, not in João Pessoa any more.

Specialized in international cuisine, the Gulliver Restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, considered one of the best and most traditional restaurants in the city.
Anywhere in the world this kind of restaurant would be cheaper. The food is loaded with lots of sauce. the restaurant is very noisy and confusing service. Sounds like a tourist restaurant. If you only have 3 days in Joao Pessoa, make other choices. The view is beautiful. Stop by for a drink and know the place. only that.

What used to be a decent restaurant apparently changed its focus trying to get more customers by lowering prices and quality level.
Although location is good (it is a beach front restaurant), food is only average at the most and service is far from acceptable in this packed restaurant.
Do not recommend the place with the current quality level. PIck another one in th vicinity.

This place has Cod (bacalhau) many different ways and even has some non cod dishes as well. It is very good for people who do not eat crustaceans as they have many dishes The food was excellent and not too expensive. Waiter spoke English and we had an English menu. Restaurant was very pretty and not far from the Tambau beach.

Pereira, both born in the Valley of the Pianco Paraiaba offer own pasta, on pizzas stuffed with edges. The pizza is made by someone who really knows the subject. After Miguel was the student who obtained the highest concept in a course on pizza conducted in 2002 by the Italian Scuola Della-Pizza, located in Rio de Janeiro. He revealed that he has worked since adolescence and after much grating, decided to open his own pizzeria and chose the city of Joao Pessoa, believing that here and one of the cities with the highest quality of life.
The pizza here is excellent; the place is very comfortable and the service is very efficient, with special attendance.Thank you for your positive review. We always try to improve our service to our clients.

Two visits there for dinner. Nice buffet and good choice of main dishes. Attentive service, good value, very enjoyable food. Pity about the pianist but you can't have everything. Recommended.

Eating at the Divina Italia is always a special occasion especially for us. The restaurant itself is simple but sophisticated and elegant and the service good. I confess that we nearly always eat the same dish which is magnificent - the prawn risotto with mango. The fresh warm bread as a starter is delicious and we finished with a slice of Belgian chocolate gateaux which was perfect. I think the wine list is a bit small and expensive although there are one of two decent cheaper wines. I recommend the Malbec. All in all it was as good as the last time we ate there which is always an important consideration.

Facing the beach of Cabo Branco, lunch or dinner admiring the beauty of the ocean is a privilege that you can have at Gulliver Mar!!
An elegant, cool restaurant on Capo Branco's seafront. Impeccable service. I shared with a friend a mushroom risotto, good, and bacalhau à Gomes de Sá, even better. Good (and reasonably priced) caipirinha - not a rip-off as in so many Brazilian restaurants. Not cheap, but worth the expense.

Excellent food, although the service was a bit slow. Nearly two hours for a weekday lunch was too much.
