Great meal at Ceabhar when we visited in September accompanied by some terrific home brew beer. Everything was very fresh and our whole group (four adults) thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Be sure to book in advance and you won't be disappointed.

Had a lovely visit for lunch. Pleasant surroundings and good food and home baking. Very busy and popular which speaks volumes. Prices reasonable and a quaint little gift shop attached Would recommend!

Six of us on a cycling tour of Coll and Tiree. We needed an evening meal but places are few and far between so we booked a table in advance. We have on vegan and one veggie in the group and were delighted that special arrangements were made, even on carvery night. For the meat eaters, there seemed to be no limit, with invitations to return for seconds. Just two of us managed a sweet. You have to take your own alcohol but there is no corkage charge.

Lovely wee cafe (but not on, or in sight of a beach!), that sold the best latte on Tiree, and delicious cakes. A couple of gripes though, we were there about 5 times during our stay, the cake size varied depending on who served you, therefore one time it was a tiny slither of cake not worth the price, the other time was perfect. We ordered a scone and butter but got charged for scone, jam and cream! (As no button for scone and butter on till), therefore a very pricy small scone for £3.00!
However that is by the by, the staff were lovely and friendly, the homemade rolls were delicious, and the salads were delicious and unusual.
We were disappointed to find they only did take away pizza between 5-8pm, and not sit in for that or anything else, so they would only serve coffee/drinks and cakes between 10-12, then you could get filled rolls between 12-3pm, then cakes (not rolls ) again from 3-5pm. We were in at 11.30 and hungry, but couldn't get a filled roll till 12!!

We went to buy lobster for a birthday celebration. We decided to go for cooked rather than face the adventure of buying a live one. We also bought some langoustine, so fresh they were climbing out the bag. We had a great birthday lunch, Day...MoreThanks so much hope to see you all again soon
