Went here one evening in the week when I couldn't be bothered to cook.
As always greeted at the door by friendly staff the place is always clean and tidy.
We were seated and the waiter brought us around a drink straight away five minutes later we ordered our meal shortly after that it was on the table being served.
I had the lamb Rogan Josh very tasty and all at reasonable prices.
If you're looking for somewhere to eat one night to check it out

With the relaxed ambiance of an English country pub, an elegant menu made from local produce and plenty of room to breathe (and park) the Grouse & Ale is the perfect venue for a social occasion or an informal meeting/function that needs more than just biscuits and coffee. The entire bar and restaurant is WIFI and there are plenty of niches to relax in with open fires to banish any winter chills, come the summer, take your drinks outside into our secluded courtyard. We hope that you will feel able to relax in comfortable surroundings, secure in the knowledge that the service, drinks and food will be perfect – whatever the occasion; Sunday lunch, a romantic dinner or a business session.Gastro Pub of the Year - 2010Quite simply, we’re very proud of our food. Our approach to designing the menu, reflects our ethos – do the simplest things brilliantly well. Our daily specials reflect a table d’hôte offering to supplement the a la carte menu along with an extensive, informal menu at the bar. Wherever possible, our menus are created from locally sourced produce and meats.
Want to be double-charged for drinks? Want one quarter of your order to just not appear? Want the most disinterested and dismissive staff you’ve ever found in a pub? Then this is the spot for you. Otherwise, beware.

Yet another fantastic meal at Eat Thai. Egg, the manager ( yes that's his name), is a great host. Really spicey soup to start followed by an excellent King Prawn Curry dish served with sticky rice. Absolutely fantastic. Great service and cannot wait to return !!!

An old coaching inn specializing in good food and a great atmosphere. We have a large garden, have regular band nights (Saturday)and serve food from midday until 10pm....Our food is traditional pub grub...Our menu is flexible as our main aim is to please and make you feel welcome. Venue hire for parties...Weddings, christenings, you name it really...Any excuse to hear laughter...
Great atmosphere on arrival and receiving a personal welcome from the owner Wayne during our meal was a nice touch. We are moving to the area soon so this will certainly be a regular visit in the future. Good quality food and hearty portions. Loved...MoreWe wish you the very best on your move and look forward to seeing you down here soon!

Indian Restaurant.
Living very close to Mr India we used to visit regularly and always enjoyed great service and super food. However there seems to have been a recent change in the ownership as the food and definitely the service levels have dropped massively. Our order was wrong twice, my main was a total disappointment, supposedly a hot curry but had no flavour and looked like it had sat at the pass for an age. When there is a birthday they play this awful music at deafening levels for an age, simply awful.
It’s walking distance but I really don’t think we will be back, it’s simply gone that far down hill that we will get in a car and drive.
Concentrate on giving better service, turn down that awful music for people’s birthdays and deliver better food and you might find that the restaurant will be back to being full again.

From the heart of Italy, in the heart of Wooburn Green, we bring you the taste of freshly prepared Italian foods, made from specially sourced quality ingredients, just like "Momma Makes". Bringing you the authentic Italian experience, the charming Dolce staff create a marvellous, warm and friendly atmosphere, in their award winning restaurant. Eat. Live. Love. Share the passion
My partner and I went this evening and could not have asked for a better experience. From the minute we walked in to the minute we left everything was perfect. The staff were friendly, welcoming and polite. The restaurant was well presented and very comfortable, it really set a lovely tone for the evening. And the food was amazing. The calamari was the best I've ever had! I had the steak for mains and I can honestly say it was on par if not better than some of the specialist steak houses I have been to. We will definitely be going back here.

I flipping love Pantry. It’s the best coffee for miles around - my only gripe is that they don’t open until 8:30am! They’re so friendly, and clearly love the art of coffee x keep it up dudes

G'rillers is a restaurant known for its Burgers, Wraps and Milkshakes. Each recipe has been carefully curated with an African twist. With sauces, marinades and soups prepared in house on a daily basis, G'rillers prides itself in good wholesome eating in a fun, family friendly and relaxed environment.
Family friendly, relaxing and amazing food. You must try the chicken burrito and peanut butter milkshake! These are my regular orders on my way home from work.
My boy loves drawing which is provided and we know the staff well enough for a chat.
Best restaurant for quick, simple and delish food.

Purveyors of nice food to the (sub)urban masses.
This place is paying attention to what is important: high-quality coffee is served in a mini French press. Real, fresh, crusty bread, not something out of a plastic bag. The salsa was fresh and obviously home-made. By the time we showed up for lunch at 1.40 pm, they were out of nearly everything, so we just trusted them to serve us "breakfast" where "breakfast" is whatever they had left arranged in a bo-bo mismatched China. Which turned out to be scrambled eggs, salsa and salmon set on a slice of real sourdough for £7. Served by a friendly person and great value for money. The people in the surrounding neighborhood are lucky to have this great little place.
