The holy city of Haridwar translates to "Gateway to God," and the breathtaking city, replete with temples, is a magnet for religious pilgrims from all over the globe. Religious festivals hold even further draw, and tourists can’t helped but be compelled by the city’s aura of intense spirituality. Don’t miss the Har ki Pauri and the Chandi Devi Temple.

When did this place get so good? I'd eaten here many years ago and was unimpressed but have been to Big Ben twice lately and it is now EXCELLENT. Far and away the best restaurant in Haridwar which is not a high bar. The taste of every dish I've had is really good, well prepared, creative even like their Navratan Korma, a unique and tasty preparation. Finally a restaurant to enjoy in Haridwar.

I understand that there are more than one Chotiwala restaurant in Haridwar. i am writing about the Chotiwala restaurant in the market road, close to Hotel La Kasa.
I consider this restaurant as something special when compared to all other medium restaurants in Haridwar as the dishes are made with unique tastes whether it be north Indian dishes or south Indian dishes or other Asian type dishes. Also there is a very good ambience being maintained in the restaurant. The service is very good. The rates are very reasonable and good value for money

Really quaint Hotel with lots of character and charm with breathtaking views of sunrise and the Ganges from the balcony. Huge bedrooms and bathroom with heating for colder weather. This hotel provides an interesting daily program from the morning starting with a yoga session and ending with an accompanied walk to the Ganga Aarti and back in the evening. The melodious bhajan singing for an hour every night is absolutely enchanting! The vegetarian dinner buffet is the best I've had at any hotel ; with an array of sumptuous curries, naan, pickles and dessert. The breakfast buffet is also very good (all Indian), but is really limiting for Westerners . I noticed they had very little to eat and made certain recommendations in my hotel review. Overall, an amazing stay and lots of help from the staff at all times.

Visited for late lunch with spouse and 4 year old kiddo with lot of expectations after Reading reviews.
Bill attached for things we ordered. Food was served fresh and quickly. Taste stands super delicious. Parathas and Naan are highly recommended along with Paneer butter masala..
Hygiene is basic where water jar wasn't clean and we had to complain about it.

Had heard a lot about this place. So after a dip in the holy Ganga, ordered the puri plus sabji combination. It was a disappointment as the sabji had a strong asafoetida. A more neutral taste of the sabji would be appreciable. But as we were hungry , we tried to enjoy as much as possible.

Mr. Sachin Arora - 09412074751(OWNER) and Mr. Joginder Singh Arora - 09412074609 (OWNER), this restaurant is one of the oldest in Haridwar, very near to Harki Paudi, where the quality and the quantity of food is awesome. Good service even if it's one of the busiest places to eat. The food served here is 100% pure vegetarian. This restaurant is situated at great location which offers delicious food and this restaurant is value for money in every respect.
Mathura wale is one popular name for sweet and eatery shops.
The mos famous of them is near Thanda Kuan and quite small with no sitting arrangement on shop it self
This particular shop is different but also situated near Har ki Paudi and provide meal at reasonable rates. You can eat Chole Bhature, Samosa tea some other snacks etc and Rasgulla etc. A average place

Specially good if you have a train to catch. A good and clean place to eat near the station. Service is fast and Menu is pretty diverse. The place specializes in South Indian Food or a fusion version of it but also serves North Indian Food. It can get crowded at times as its a small restaurant but service is still fast. Good staff.
I am yet to be disappointed by the taste here. And its value for money.

The best multi-cuisine restaurant in Haridwar, serving a host of mouth-watering vegetarian meals. Choose from a great variety of excellent Continental and Indian cuisines. The staff at Hotel Ganga Lahari is prompt and polite. We put great emphasis on the quality of food served at the restaurant in terms of freshness and nutrition value. Please note – only vegetarian food is served at Hotel Ganga Lahari, Haridwar.
Amazing Place with exceptional activities in the hotel. The location of the hotel is central to almost everything. It is just a 5 min walk to the main pooja/arthi place. Flute session were just divine and relaxing both morning and evening. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Rooms located on 2nd floor have a better view over the Ganga river. Room 208 (parents were staying in) was very close to the kitchen which can be noisy at times. However not a wide variety for breakfast and dinner. We even extended our stay for 1 more day at the venue. The staff were really humble and very helpful. Will definitely recommend this venue.
