This restaurant is a favourite both with guests and locals. Located in the Marina Village, Manta Ray offers a great menu of delicious gourmet wood fired pizzas, pastas, salads and more
We ate dinner here twice during our recent short vacation to Hamilton Island. Couples are well catered for because most of the tables-for-two are located along the veranda above the water, with an excellent view through the marina. There is a pizza menu as well as a good variety of mains. Try the pulled pork pizza!

This was stop one for our meal pick on our holiday. Happy with the service, Leonie was great. Very friendly. Yummy ice coffee! Wholesome plates of delicious food, no scraps of food purely for aesthetic appeal, this one if for your tastebuds and fills the stomach nicely! Very spacious. Relaxed daytime atmosphere. Expensive buffet breakfast that we didn’t try. Cafe near ice-cream parlour was the preferred choice for us.

Choose to unwind with a pre-dinner aperitif looking out to one of the best views on the island, or to indulge in the exquisite, modern Australian cuisine featuring seasonal and locally-source produce.
We enjoyed dinner here on the last night of our Hamilton Island stay. It was leagues above other Hamilton eateries in every sense. The service and venue was excellent and the food fresh and beautifully prepared and served. The other restaurants on the island, whilst not bad, seems to pump out mediocre to ok food at high prices but for only a little more (if you were eating three courses) you can visit the Beach Club (three courses for $95) and enjoy a totally different experience to elsewhere on the island. We had the Pork Belly, Eye Fillet and Prawn/Bug linguine and it was all delicious. I would defiantly return.

Romano's is positioned over the waters of the Hamilton Island Marina and offers fantastic Italian fare and a fresh seafood menu that changes daily. 'Waterfront Italian'
Great food, less stuffy than at the hotels, and less expensive. We arrived early and there wasn’t really anywhere to wait and have a drink (they would benefit from a bar area). We ordered the local house Chardonnay, steak and linguine vongole and shared a dessert. Great food, although steak was a little sinewy. Would recommend a visit. Brilliant and attentive waiting staff. Location was great, overlooking the marina - even in torrential rain!

The only great thing about this place was the location and the view. My husband and I ate at a picnic table right on the water. Though the birds were overly aggressive, sitting by the water was very nice. The food was nothing special. Being vegan, I tried to order a veggie wrap without the feta, however they come pre-made so that wasn't an option. I ended up ordering the Buddha bowl, which was not great. It would be nice if they offered tofu - as something that can be added to the Buddha bowl or a scramble as an alternative to one of their many egg dishes.

We only had breakfast here each morning but it was amazing. The buffet has a very wide selection of foods either heavy to healthy. Probably the best breaky buffet ever. The hash browns are crispy and the chipolatas are tasty. There are 4 different types of eggs and fresh hollandaise. There is honey comb to be eaten and lots of fruit, yogurt pastries etc

Sample some of the Whitsundays' finest seafood at Mariners, in the heart of the Hamilton Island Marina. What you'll love about Mariners: - The offering is a seafood lover's dream - with fresh fish, local prawns, oysters, generous platters and other bounties from the sea. - Great location in the heart of the Hamilton Island Marina. - Relaxed, laid-back setting.
Again tonight dinner was a repeat of the previous night: good food, nice service, lovely location but...all of this is very impersonal!
All places ask the same questions for breakfast, lunch and dinner and everything is the same.
Anyway the fish we had for starter and main was good...best thing was actually the Tempura shellfish crabs!

Situated in the Hamilton Island Yacht Club, the award-winning Bommie is one of the most superb places to eat on the island. Bommie takes its name from the Aboriginal word 'bombora' - which refers to the shallow, isolated and colourful reef patches found in the waters surrounding Hamilton Island.
Came here on the last night of my honeymoon with my partner. The service from Nick and Izak was absolutely fantastic. Highly highly recommend this place. Chef Trent Dawson, your tasting menu was magical, it was honestly out of this world. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. 5/5

My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed dinner and drinks at the Marina Tavern. It's good Aussie pub food, and very well priced compared with other places on the island. I had the cajun lamb wrap which was delicious. Lovely chilled atmosphere, with friendly and welcoming staff. The view is glorious out onto the marina - just watch out for the cockatoos trying to steal your chips!

Noisy venue with pretty average service levels. Good quality food ingredients but really over-salted, many people might like that though. Nice being able to sit over-looking the beach. Not cheap, but similar to most restaurants on the island.
