Ate here for supper one night during our visit. Just popped in without a reservation and they were able to seat us immediately, right next to the window. The views are to die for, right on the harbour. Food was outstanding, reasonable priced and good portions. Service was very friendly. Only downside is not a lot of choices on the menu.

The gift shop is as large as the restaurant and has low priced tourist souvenirs like tee shirts, sweatshirts and nautical gift items. Pay at the register at the lunch counter. Has a nice local feel to the place.

In warm place for delicious coking smells, dicover the good and beautiful kitchen of Marie and her team.
It was highly recommended but it was extremely hot inside, service was painfully slow and disorganized for a what was a very easy already prepared lunch. People were constantly being told they would be looked after soon but that did not happen. They take only cash and it is expensive for what they serve. Food may be good but they really need training in preparing and serving.
Would not recommend if you have limited time or a ferry to catch.

With most of the eateries on the island being take-out, this is a breath of fresh air, (literally, sea breeze and roses). Not really a tea room but a veranda, it offers a wide selection of tea and complimentary scones with homemade jams and jellies. It is a British Cream Tea without the cream. $5 gets you a generous pot of tea and two homemade scones. Table cloths, bone China cups & saucers, and delicate little cutlery elevate the experience and added with the magnificent view of the Bay of Fundy, there is no better way to spend an hour on a lovely summer day on Grand Manan! Only open from 2-4.

Great soups, sandwiches, and service in a small roadside cafe, plus great breakfasts. Not fancy but very good food with tables inside or on their covered deck. Popularity can make it crowded and slower at lunchtime but well worth the wait, if that is the case. We've tried virtually all the eateries on the island during our weeklong visit and this soon became our favorite. You can pay more and find fancier places and menus but you won't find better food or service on the island.

We ate a couple of meals here (breakfast and dinner) and found both meals to be well prepared, tasty, and satisfying. The service was excellent and the super-friendly staff were willing to take a bit of time and answer questions about the island. The restaurant is clean and the washrooms are fine. The menu is varied and there really is something for everyone. The owners work in the restaurant and are readily available if you have any comments. The restaurant is right near the ferry dock and there is plenty of parking. Good value.

We're your island home for big city NY style hand tossed pizza. We mae our own dough and sauce daily. If we had cows, we'd make our own cheese!
Recently visited Grand Manan and have to say this pizza was some of the best I ever had. We had two but my favorite was the grand mananer. The owner and his wife/family were just wonderful people, and his wife spent about 30 minutes with...MoreABJ_1983, thank you for your kind words! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay here on Grand Manan and see some of our special spots on the island! Make sure to come back and visit this year. We'll have a Grand Mananer waiting!

Stopped at this little fish market/take-out during our visit to to the island. Nothing fancy by any stretch of the word, but what the place lacks in appearance it definitely makes up for in quality of food and customer service!
Sunrise Seafood is located just off the main road and offers both a variety of take home fresh fish and doubles as a take out.
Of the group of 4 of us, 2 of us tried the fish chowder. It wasn't necessarily the best chowder I've ever had but was still very good and I get it again given the chance! 1 of our group ordered a clam and chips. They were done fresh in batter and were the whole clams and not the strips. These were very good! My wife opted for a lobster roll and was not disappointed at all. The roll came packed full of meat and on a large fresh roll, and was well worth the price. We also ordered fries and again these were very good as well.
The Lobster is cooked on site and the Sandwich was made to order so you know it's fresh and we watched the cook prepare the clams while we waited. Only had to wait less than 10 minutes from the time we placed the order!
They don't have any place to sit inside, but do have a few picnic table outside.
BRING CASH, they do not take debit or credit.
