Warmly greeted on entering the restaurant which was very busy even at 6pm on a Sunday.Decided to try the Indonesian rijsttafel(rice table) and was really impressed with the quality and quantity of the food provided and at a price of €21.50 each, tremendous value! Starter of chicken soup arrived quickly after ordering and was lovely. The main course of 9 different dishes arrived in plenty of time. We had a carafe of the Rose wine which was excellent and great value at €9.The staff were really attentive and really knew what they were doing, great professional service. We watched other diners partaking in the chinese menu which looked just as delicious as the indonesian one! This is a top restaurant and one i would love to try again, even if it required a detour!

Italian lunchroom, restaurant and wine bar. High tea, high wine. Furthermore a shopping part with Italian Ice, chocolates, coffee and tea products, presents, liquours and Italian wines.
Il Borgo offers mostly Italian lunch items, various types of coffee and tea, ice cream and chocolate. We had a dish for two with various food items, like shrimp, olives and carpaccio. In general it was very good, and we regularly visit Il Borgo.

Herberg de Brabantse Kluis De Brabantse Kluis is a tasteful inn located in the green and beautiful countryside of Aarle-Rixtel between Eindhoven and Helmond. Nestled between two nature reserves, De Biezen and De Grotelse Heide, De Brabantse Kluis is a Trinity of farm, monastery and inn. Alongside the monastery cows and the nuns of the missionary house of the Holy Blood (Missieklooster Heilig Bloed), you can experience first hand why Brabant is famed for its hospitality. It is an ideal resting place for cyclists and hikers in which you can enjoy culinary delights, views of the meadows and a glimpse into the monastic life of the nuns, and where children can run around freely and even stroke a calf. It's also an inspiring location for meetings and company outings, fully equipped with business facilities. And if you don't feel like leaving, overnight stays are available!<br><br>Pack your bags<br>In addition to cycling through the surrounding nature reserves, a stroll through the monastery garden, perhaps combined with a presentation by one of the monastery's resident nuns, you can also discover the area in a covered wagon. There's also a dedicated hiking route for children, the Biggetjesroute, which allows them to explore and discover nature. De Brabantse Kluis even has its own dairy farm with cows and calves, and you can see pigs and piglets from a skybox in the Rooijakkers viewing sheds.<br><br>"Everything here is authentic"<br>The inn arranges a variety of themed evenings, from Brabant-styled music festivals to 'Tour the Farm', wild and wine evenings and iPad challenges. Our farm shop sells a range of goods from great souvenirs to local produce, including some cultivated on the monastery's land.<br><br>Tailored programme<br>Whether you're planning to visit with colleagues, friends or family, De Brabantse Kluis offers so many inspiring and authentic opportunities that it's impossible to list them all. Our multilingual team will be happy to provide you with more information about the many activities that are available. We can even work with you to put together a complete tailored programme, including food and drink and, if required, overnight accommodation.
The location of this restaurant/hotel is great. Behind the restaurant you can sit outside and you have a clear view of the stables with cows. You can take a look in the stables. Food is all fresh and comes from the land behind the restaurant. Lots of choices. Staff is kind. Atmosphere is alright, tables are close to each other..

Friends of our took us to this restaurant for our regular eating out expedition. And what a pleasant surprise! A tasteful entrance leading into a well appointed dining room. A nicely balanced menu with choices of a la carte or the taster menus (as long as you all had it). An an Amuse Bouche of tuna sorbet and cucumber jelly was fantastic. I went for the river shrimp cocktail to start and my wife had the carpaccio both were great with modern twists and quirkiness. Main for me was the Venison which just melted in the mouth and her indoors had the Duck. To end I had a poached pear with chocolate and sorbet and Jo had mango with sweet potato which sounds daft but was delicious.
Wine list was limited but excellent, we had a Rioja which was as smooth as a babies bottom.
Will be going there again

Went here wiith friends, they ambiance is very nice, it is an old farmhouse. The menu did show a goid variety of dishes. Also set menus available at decent prices. The service at our table was very good, nice waitress. The servings where quite big. All in all price/quality was good, we had 3 courses and ended up paying around €50 per person, drinks and coffee included. I will go back, but maybe on a weekday when the place is less full, now with all the people it was a bit noisy. s

Uitstekende gastheer Jacky!

We visted at the end of a sunny Sunday. Me, my wife and my big brother.
Started outside and moved later on inside. Rather simple interior, but the food was very good and the waitresses were extremely kind. They advised us on Italian wine, as we were about to go for a holiday in Toscana and gave professional advice. Not expensive, nicely located in the center(?) of the village.
