A small fishing village until the 20th century, Gdynia was rapidly built into Poland’s largest and busiest sea port after World War I. As a result, it’s mainly a very modern city. The most significant older attraction is the 13th-century St. Michael the Archangel Church. Two museum ships in the harbor, a destroyer and a frigate, are also popular with visitors. Gdynia has a thriving cultural life and in September hosts the annual Polish Film Festival, sometimes called the “Polish Cannes.”

Great service, very good food. We had tiger shrimps and fajitas with beef&tiger shrimps. Delicious mexican taste, good wines and margarita, reasonable price. Would love to go again!

Sztuczka is a young and creative restaurant that stands out from the others with its culinary craft. Author's cuisine by chef Rafal Walęsa, profesional service, great atmosphere. Gault & Millau 14,5 points / 2 hats. Tri-city portal. Local reviews - 5.5/6 points, Facebook user reviews 4.8/5 points.
Fantastic, creatively prepared and served dishes. Lunch menu is a real bargain, hard to believe how good the food is. If you don't eat here while staying or living in Gdynia, you will never know what you missed. The Waitstaff is very professional and helpful with not a hint of snootiness (which was a bit of a problem some years ago). Thank you, Sztuczka, for never failing to delight me and my guests!

After my last review of a Polish Italian restaurant you will know that if it wasn't any good I would say so. However I'm on my 5th visit and it has been excellent every time. We called on the weekend and there was a two hour wait, this should tell you something about what local people think of the place. Incidentally we went to another Italian that night and it was almost empty.. it was only the food which was the difference. To compare the food is to realise how good Cozzi is. It is not often the seafood pasta is so full is delicious seafood. They are not trying to save money on each dish like some places. They want you to enjoy and want you to come back so we do. :)

Nice sushi place, with imaginative sushi masters serving both items from a pretty extensive menu and special orders, should your imagination go beyond the menu. Sitting upstairs is nice, to enjoy daylight and allows for a direct interaction with the chef to directly pass all fine tuning and indications. The fish is fresh and skillfully prepared but the choice is a bit limited

"Tlusta Kaczka" is a place the Tri-city lacked: a remarkable new restaurant serving Polish cuisine. The Master Chef: Tomasz Mrozik, lover of culinary art, take the best and the Grand Est from Polish cuisine. Together with their team, he is sure to delight even the most demanding palate with the aroma of freshly-baked bread, the flavour of long-forgotten herbs and the temptation of mouth-wattering desserts. What awaits their guests is a composition of tastes and scents rising from the fairplace, the aroma of roast gae, cordials, conserves, herbs and marinades.
Tlusta Kaczka has everything you need for a wonderful dinner celebration: amazing food, great service, and elegant decor. I have visited three times so far - every time I have been impressed with a sophisticated fusion of the best traditional Polish cuisine and modern culinary presentation. I highly recommend borowikowa (porcini) soup, duck, and fish. Tables are far enough to be able to carry a conversation without disturbing other guests. Service is very professional. I will visit again and again.

The place breathes a nice atmosphere. Comfortable setting and great decoration.
As a starter we had a mixed dish (olives, hummus, squid). Very tasteful and a large portion. Main course the chicken with hummus and some additional ingredients. Very colorful, tasteful and nicely presented.
The hostess (also owner) was present but could have ‘earned’ more if she would have asked if we wanted more to drink. I don’t mind as I will order what I need but can imagine some guest would appreciate a bit more service at the table. At approx 10 pm we could not order any coffee as she had to make up the register.
I would definitely go back to taste some of the other dishes she has to offer.

Restaurant has great location at Skwer Kosciuszki in Gdynia. There is also a garden with tables outside. Interior is quite strange and here it is my good advise to change it for more cozy without so many details excluding themselves. Service was average. You order food not a table but counter. Actually with normal rates it is strange. Beer quite cheap, rest of beverages standard rates. Food quality average and prices standard as for centre of the city. Next time I will choose another place.

Atmosphere is really nice. Service was excellent. Food was good as well. Tomato soup first and then the shrimps with wine sauce were really beautiful. Soup could be improved as it tasted a bit like spaghetti bolognese...
Overall was a really nice experience that I'd recommend. I will come back for sure.

First got scared because it was completely empty on Saturday evening. Remembering TA opinions I nevertheless decided to go in and it was a very good decision.
Restaurant is on the first floor. Nice view on the square around. Also very comfortable seats. Very nice and helpful staff. But the best was food - it was something "different" from what you usually eat. A fantastic mix of tasty and healthy food prepared like at home. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely go back while in Gdynia.

When looking for vegetarian restaurants in Gdynia on Trip advisor this popped up. The pizza is lovely (one of the best I had) and prices awesome, but sadly they don't have much vegetarian options :( They also serve amazing coffee so I would definitely recommend.
