Garachico is a municipality and town on the northern coast of Tenerife, about 52 km West of the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 50 km from Tenerife North Airport and 67 km from Tenerife South Airport. The town itself nestles below a 500m+ (1500 ft) cliff. Garachico and the surrounding area is arguably the least spoilt coastal area of Tenerife, and is in sharp contrast to areas such as Playa de las Americas. It is still very Spanish in character, and a Spanish phrasebook is advisable for non-Spanish speaking visitors.

There is a Terrace at the sea front where you can enjoy a varied menu with a specialty in fresh fish and paella you can also enjoy a good coffee watching the ocean
Gorgeous place to sit and lunch overlooking the rocks and water. It was a real joy to discover beautiful seafood. I loved this lunch.

Wonderfully surprised by the lunch 'menu' which included soup, entree, wine, bread, water, coffee or desert all for 12 euros. Seafood soup was excellent and pork chop and fish were very tasty. View from the balcony overlooking the sea was perfect. Service was excellent and friendly.

It is possible to pay with credit card
Only open at weekends - well in February - not sure about other times. So popular we arrived early for a table and had to return in half an hour. You could sit at the bar and have a drink to wait or even eat...MoreThank you very much for your lovely opinion. Thank you for coming to all staff.

We ate here last night but it was disappointing
We ordered 3 starter squid, mushrooms and octopus the mushrooms were vile very rich and over soft that made the consistency unpleasant . We had to wait between each starter and 3 staters took over an hour the arrive
The main course 2 had goat which was tough and chewy
The mains came at different times which meant 3 of the group had finished their meal before the other 2 had even got theirs
The place is lovely but it’s am over ambitious menu and the kitchen needs sorting with customer expectations if they want to keep customers

Having read so many good reviews about this place, we just had to give it a try when staying for a week in Garachico, even though pizza is not really a favourite food of mine. The first challenge is that the place only opens on Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings; the second is that it is also very popular with locals (no bad thing), so you need to get there before opening at 7pm to queue to get a table!
We managed to secure a table (the place filled up within minutes of being open), and although we had to wait for service (I rather suspect that locals were given priority), it was ultimately worth the wait as the pizzas were very tasty, with very thin, crispy bases. As we left, there were long queues outside, further confirmation if required that it is a very popular place.

Came here after seeing reviews on TA. Local food and fresh seafood selection - my husband had the cuttlefish which was enormous, cut in half and grilled, which he loved, not my scene! Jamon was good, bread and dips nice, menu was not huge but all seemed very local. Atmosphere is a little cool on a January night (internal colour scheme is green and black) but could imagine it would be ideal in a hot summer.

Located next to the football field of Garachico and freque to the hotel san roque is this tasquita that offers a place where you can enjoy a typical canarian place in the company of your partner, family, etc ... offering the best grilled meats , Fish from the Canarian coasts and a wide variety of tapas; All accompanied by the best wines of the region. We hope to see you soon!!
We were a large group of mixed ages. Not many eating places were open in Garachico when we arrived and La Taskita was the only place that could accommodate all of us.
Between all of us we tried variety of dishes from the menu. Each one of them was really tasty.
The only complain is that food took a long time to arrive and some dishes arrived sooner and others late. However I suppose this is due to our group being very large.

Ardeola Restaurant, a place where you can enjoy lunch or dinner with beautiful views of the sea inGarachico. Located a few meters from the Town Hall Square and a few steps from the pools. You can taste our fresh fish, rice and chef's recommendations. Also we offer a wide variety of wines to accompany your meal. Very good value for money. Cuisine identified with the landscape only a few meters from the sea.
You need to reserve in this small but outstanding restaurant of the seafront of the nice Garrachico town, but the quality of the food is outstanding as a modern interpretation of the traditional Tenerife food. Excellent and really good price/quality. 230 euro for 6 people for an excellent 3 course meal. Do not skip the desserts, they are excellent ! fantastic bread and butter too ! good winelist.

While on a tour with friends, our guide Jaime from Feel Tenerife, took us to La Patissier for a coffee break.
There's a nice assortment of coffee, pastries, and sandwiches, all reasonably priced.
There is outdoor Seating, which we would have enjoyed, as it was quite warm inside. Pretty interior.
