More the fifteen year delighting the palate ous customers and friends.
What a lovely meal we had here last night. Starters of prawns wrapped in potatoes and the pan of potatoes, bacon and cheese! Prawns were so juicy. The pizza which followed was so light and almost melted in your mouth. So tasty. Tiramisu for pudding and limoncello after. The service we received from Alba was excellent. All staff were very polite and friendly. Hope to visit again.

Small and charming restaurant located in the center of Gandia. Ideal for lunches and romantic dinners, and also for business lunches. Do not forget to try our Star starters, as Scallop Telero, crunchy cod fritters or corn pancakes (Small corn pancakes stuffed with various ingredients) typical dish from Gandia. We make some of the best rice of Valencia, and all our desserts are homemade. We make too The Traditional FIDEUA de GANDIA, seafood short noodles coked in paella.
i came here after researching some restaurants in gandia area as we had a villa for the holidays.

My first visit to Casa Manolo but it won't be the last! The Menu del Dia at €18 (plus IVA) was beautifully presented. 6 very interesting starters to share including pescadito frito (small deep fried fish), a salad which included al dente garden vegetables in a refreshing light dressing and a small glass of gazpacho with guacamole at the base. The main course, no choice, was monkfish. A good sized helping but a little undercooked in part so difficult to cut, my only criticism. Light, very creamy ice cream based dessert. Really enjoyable. Great modern restaurant right on the beach at Daimus.

Meson San Rafael is a bit hidden away, just off the seafront behind a precinct, but is well worth ferreting out. Excellent food, service, wine and Spanish ambience. But! If you want their paella (it looked GORGEOUS!), you need to order in advance and make a reservation.
This place doesn't open till half one so you may have to hang around a bit, but it is really worth it! We were greeted by one of the chefs who took the trouble to go through the menu with us - a nice touch much appreciated. They don't speak a lot of English here but so what? Let's speak a little Spanish - we are in Spain! Appetiser was aubergine strips, fried and served with honey - delicious. We opted for tapas expecting small portions. We had mussels, grilled mushrooms, anchovies, cod croquettes, patatas bravas and pork skewers washed down with a dry white. Small portions? Could hardly move afterwards. The food was really good, freshly cooked and served expertly by our waitress who went out of her way to assist us. 46 Euros with a bottle of wine - bargain.
Bravo!

We were told of this place by a friend. The croquetas are homemade and amazing. Actually, all of the food is amazing. However, after several visits to eat lunch there, we were charged dinner prices. I have no idea why and being how we are, we didn't fight it--we just paid, left and knew we wouldn't go back. We think that because we are not from here, they took advantage of us.

We were welcomed by the owners . Willing to chat, especially when we realised they had been on the telly. Place in or home in the sun. Clean, bright with great out door space to sit in the Sunshine . With small out side park for children to play whilst adults relax with a coffee.

The restaurant is a modest place, but with excellent cuisine marked by fish, seafood and Valencian rice. Amadeo Faus chef and restaurant manager was first classified in 2014 Fideuà contest, cooking star dish of Gandia. He also holds other awards in prestigious competitions of traditional cuisine. Besides fideuà, paellas and stews are excellent dishes. It has good meat, but what stands out is in its fresh seafood, buying almost every day at auction Valencia.dispone Gandia and good terraces.
We followed the advice of Tripadvisor and ate a good Valencia paella but had no exceptional experience. Friendly staff, family friendly, good food. We could easily sit outside in a pleasant and quiet atmosphere. The place was not full but we were quite early. I would definetely go back to try some other dishes but I do not believe this is the best restaurant of playa de Gandia.

This unassuming-looking little gastrobar on Gandia's Calle Vallier (No.15) is home to a real food-lover. Whether you pop in for a quick tapas or a full meal, he'll welcome you warmly and proudly discuss his delicious dishes. Everything is fresh, beautifully-prepared and has that generous little something-extra that only a cook who truly loves feeding people can provide. It's a pleasure to sit at the neat, cafe-style tables or the delightful little Terrace at the back, and fortify yourself for a visit to the magnificent Ducal Palace, just around the corner.

From the moment we entered the restaurant we were made very welcome and the service was excellent we had chipitas to start and then paella mixta which was outstanding, for desert we had a home made cheesecake and tiramisu which were both very good. Although not the easiest place to find or to park we will be returning soon

As we arrived we were welcomed and shown to our table where an amuse bouche of pate and toast awaited us, for stater we ordered pulpo ala gallega (octopus galician style) to share, for main my partner ordered magret de pavo (duck breast) and I ordered solemillo de iberico (Iberican pork steak) both dishes were outstanding we decided not to have desert, which turned out to be the correct decision as petit fours came with our coffees, a really good value quality meal with outstanding service, we will be back
