Frýdek-Místek (Czech pronunciation: [ˈfriːdɛk ˈmiːstɛk], Polish: Frydek-Mistek; German: Friedeck-Mistek) is a city in Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It is the administrative centre of Frýdek-Místek District. Frýdek-Místek is located at the confluence of two rivers Ostravice and Morávka in the foothills of the Beskyds near the Polish (25 km) and Slovakia (35 km) borders. The city history reaches back to the 13th century, when Gothic castle was established. On January 1, 1943 the Germans joined the up-until-then separate towns of Frýdek and Místek in a twin-town.

I visited it only few times til now, but I will definitelly return next time... so far so good.
Restaurant is profiled like a 'mexican', but its offer is wider.
Its atmosphere is somehow mixed - not bad, but rather not much consistent in choosed style.. But it is only my personal opinion.. Overall service is good, clean area, no problem. Very good standard on local (town) measures, what is also proved by its attendance by foreigners.
And what to say on end..?
..my favorite food here is a Salmon spaghetti ;-)

So this is a small, cozy pub/restaurant where you can get the best beer from local brewery very cheap. You should also taste amazing local cuisine. If you're way around this is good place to stay for a meal and for a drink. It's close to the highway, so it is impossible to miss.

You can enjoy a delicious pizza here. They have also various drinks. Even if you are not a pizza fan, you can choose something good. It's often quite crowded, so I would recommend to make a reservation.

one of local restaurants, which I do not hesitate to visit anytime during my working week.. everytime I was satisfied. moreover - it is restaurant with very deep history, its roots are in baroque period, and its function did not changed essentially from these times. interier is nicely stylish, and due to thick walls there is in a comfortable cold inside during hot summer days.
in 1805 russian military leader Kutuzov was accommodated here, while move with his big army to later well known battle "Battle of the Three Emperors". memo of this event you will find in restaurant, and you can also read about it in booklet of Menu.
about cousine - it is mostly czech. on lunchtime you can buy lunch for good price, while you can choose from 3 meals incl. soup, for good price (ie. under hundred crowns). but you will find in menu also some thematic "specialities" inspired by historical event above :-)
i strongly recommend to visit, at least once. it is one of my prefered restaurants, in this part of city hard to find better (nearest competitors similarly good are probably on frydek main square)

Had a medieval dinner here. The restaurant is really good in this. Expect a lot of meat for a very decent price :)

Carbon (although not in the nicer neighborhood of Frydek-Mistek) offers probably the best meals and staff attitude in Moravian-Silesian Region for more than affordable price. Only 20 minutes from Ostrava via highway, direction Frydek-Mistek. Probably my best eating experience in the Czech Republic ever (all my three visits during last year were equally perfect)..

In old castle old styled restaurant, unfortunately smoking with bad air condition. Serving old named meal but not old style. Very dark interior - they wanted do it so much dark, but You can hardly see what You eat. But many people would contribute this restaurant excellent, not me - I would like to see what I eat.

Very pleasant place with kind service. Large portion of traditional apple pie (strudel). Recommendable place for dinner, coffee, also with kids as there are pencils and paper.

Traditional czech Pub & Restaurant. Food is great all the time, beer as well.
The only disadvantage is that most of the visitors smoke there, so you can not enjoy a (really good) dinner without breathing cigarette smell.
After a good meal, it is good to play some bowling upstairs.
