Things to do in Forte Dei Marmi

I will keep this one short and sweet: Lorenzo overwhelmed us with flavors and set new bar for any restaurant to surpass.
We tasted so many different dishes I seriously lost track but I would still strongly suggest you try their signature seafood pasta (bavette sul pesce) and the bollito misto di pesce: they will floor you!
If you still have room for dessert, you can dive into their 3-chocolate soufflé, otherwise let them suggest a bite or two from the cheese cart (the scoppolato is to die for).
I will not comment on the wine list: it is just too amazing for me to do it any justice.
You just cannot miss the experience if you're ever in the area.

Had higher expectations for this seafood restaurant. Had the 7 course tasting meny and wine flight. Food was nothing special, maybe that is just me enjoying Norwegian seafood more than Tuscany seafood tho...
Most disappointing was the wine flight. They have a 100 pages (!) wine list, in my honest opinion they should be able to create better food-wine pairing.

We had a little change from our usual lunch restaurant and went to Gilda. I had a the calamari and it was fantastic. I liked the location on the beach and the staff was very nice.

we went there with a group of 20 people, with few kids. Good restaurants with some interesting dishes, especially starters, i would suggest to go with their warm seafood selection..very good and tasty. My primo piatto was good too even though a bit too spicy. Not sure about price as i did not pay but i would say not cheap either

Beautiful dishes and good service. We visited the restaurant with friends from the local area. Staff were friendly and helpful and all food served was fresh and presented beautifully. The wine, suggested by the waiter/owner, complemented the food well. This restaurant also had a casual outdoor bar area which was really lovely

Using you last revewer as reccomeadatoin we went and wer disappionted with the place. \It was a little country restaurant. M friend tried the chichereta and was sadly disappointed.Whereas I had the Spaghetti al pesto and was delighted. We then both had the gilthead bream in the potatoe pastry and were both delighted with the freshness of the fish. With wine , water and fernet branca the bill was under 50 Euros.

Possibly the best pizza in Forte dei Marmi. Fresh ingredients and good dough. Friendly, almost homy service. Good beer (not a vast selection though...). The outdoor setting (right on the street...) is welcoming you with soft blu table cloths pressed to perfection.

Nelson club links the pizzeria menù with sandwiches, salads, omelette and pizza of course; with a simple restaurant menù based on fresh seafood cooked in a local way.
So far the service in Tuscany has been excellent, but this place was something else. The first impression was positive;nice tables and a positive atmosphere.I sat down by myself for about ten minutes before someone passed by my table to tell me that the place is closed.I checked their website and saw that they were not actually closed,it was open for another 50 minutes. Was it because I was alone or because my skin happens to have more pigmentation?I am really disappointed with this experience but happy to have found a lovely place with lovely service around the corner.

Since one year the place to be in Forte dei Marmi if you want to eat one of the best japanese cuisine of the whole Italy. Simple but innovative recipes, tradition, fresh ingredients and italian warmth are the characteristics of this cosy place at 2' walk from the central square of FOrte dei Marmi. I come here everytime I come to Versilia for weekends.
Yaki Udon, Special Maki, Tartare and Tataki are my favorite dishes. They are all prepared under your eyes using ingredients that come in fresh every day.
Value for money is absolutely the best I tried: you can have a complete dinner for 30 EUR or less including beer and coffee. (nowadays the price of a Pizzeria dinner!) You will also see excellent wines with very little surcharge vs. wine shops, which is rare to see also.
Also some vegetarian recipes for the ones not into fish.
COngratulations Kooka!
