We absolutely loved our stay at Torre Guelfa. Chef Claudio along with Sarbrina and Vanessa made everything so simple and enjoyable while we stayed (2 nights, but would have happily stayed a bit longer). The food was exceptional and we were pretty much continuously given something to eat or drink.
Cooking classes with the chef were very useful and enjoyable, and would be adaptable to pretty much anything you wanted to try.
The accommodation is very nice, not fully modernised but comfortable, homely and secure; not one for people looking for 5 star luxury but perfectly acceptable. We went for 2 nights as part of a bigger trip, many of the other guests there were staying on a full week cooking course and they were all as positive about it as we are. Could not recommend any higher, and the value they offer was sensational

Ritorante tipico toscano, situato a 1 km dal casello autostradale Incisa/Reggello, vicino ai grandi outlet della zona, tra cui il THE MALL.New restaurant just outside Florence in Incisa Valdarno near the outlet THE MALL. English spoken. Spanish spoken
We ate here a number of times it was so good. Great pasta, meat, vegetables, everything. The chef came out each time to ask us what we would like and was everything ok. The quality of the food and wine was superb. It is a modest little place, but truly good cooking and service. Perfecto.

Inside the historic Villa La Palagina, in an elegant and welcoming atmosphere in the heart of the Chianti. The Restaurant serves speciality dishes that take classic, traditional Tuscan cuisine and give them a modern twist. We also offer menus for people with coeliac disease, vegetarians and children, all notable for the highest quality local ingredients used. Our Chef de Cuisine, Federico Cardi, will be pleased to welcome you and let you taste the dishes from his kitchen. Recipes that combine simple flavours with the highest quality, fresh ingredients to create dishes full of unique tastes and aromas. A presto!
The gorgeous Terrace looks out over gorgeous Tuscan hills.
We ate here for lunch and the simple summer menu was perfect for the weather, light and mostly cooling.
The Tuscan charcuterie plate (what it was called) and the beef salad were superb and reasonably priced.
This is a perfect place for a leisurely lunch.

We randomly booked a table at this lovely restaurant, and when we came a fixed set menu was the choice this day. Local and home made food with a personal touch and charming service! Are you tired of expensive gourmet places; go to this restaurant, relax and enjoy.

A cozy and familiar atmosphere, a real Porta del Chianti that will make you enjoy all the authentic flavors of the Tuscan tradition, not to be missed. La Porta del Chianti offers authentic Tuscan specialties can be enjoyed while sitting comfortably or to buy. The Vinacoteca offers a lunch and dinner with savory dishes, excellent and always in season. You can choose from the many tasty and crunchy bruschetta, served in different variants to suit all tastes. The sweet tooth can choose good instead of cold cuts and cheeses, served with so many other snacks. To accompany your meal you will find a great selection of wines and craft beers. The labels are all sourced locally, so as to perfectly match your choice. All specialties served are also for sale, along with an excellent extra virgin olive oil and other products Calabresi. We suggest you try the chopping Stefania in fact, a platter of cold cuts from Calabria, designed by the owner to make known its origins and discover a combination of different traditions. La Porta del Chianti has some Seating both inside and outside, to enjoy your meal in comfort
The Vinoteca is located conveniently close to the hotel Villa Casagrande. As other reviewers remarked, don't expect a big menu. But the dishes they offer are of good quality, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The selection of wines is fine. Very nice little place!

Typical tuscan food, T-bone steak, fresh seasonal products such as: truffle, porcini mushrooms and artichokes.
It is good that tools such as Tripadvisor are available for travellers, lest they would miss sterling opportunities like this one. Off a busy road in a light industrial area, this restaurant is best described as non-descript from the outside. Inside, the decor is clean and functional, but not elegant. Things begin to change the moment one talks to the friendly and hugely professional staff, or peruse the menu. All fresh ingredients, in the full respect of the local tradition, but also with some inventive, and hugely successful, re-interpretations of such classics as bistecca alla fiorentina. My wife and I had a magnificent meal, which far surpassed our expectations, and put this restaurant in the upper echelon of what you can get in an area already noted for his excellent food. Thoroughly recommended.

The place looks great and has an amazing historic feel to it!
However, I was not impressed by the food at all. The menu is pretty small, which is ok, but the meat we are was just average, and the waiters were a little lost. The mains were served with the same garnish. Not coming back.

Tipical tuscans dishes (also Seafood). Hand-made pizza with wood oven. All high quality products.
We were recommended this by our Italian hosts. It was simple, cheap but very delicious. Pizza's were thin Napoli style at about €7-8. House wine was fresh and local at about €7 / L. Deserts were homemade, light and tasty. We sat on the roof Terrace from about 19.30 watching the sunset at during the meal. To get to the restaurant turn first right after the Red bridge on Via Roma just after the roundabout on the way into Figline.

The pastas were well made and sauce balanced. The service was excellent despite being a busy lunch timing.

BENVENUTI all'Hostaria ceccotoccami...
We had an excellent evening dinner in what is probably the best new italian cuisine I discovered over the 4 recent years. An inspiration of modern dishes with innovative italian touch. The service is outstanding and the price are affordable although slightly more expensive than the traditional pizzeria.. The price for a bottle of wine can range from 10€ to 200€, with a large choice for less than 30€. The dishes are around 15€ to 25€. The quality/cost ratio is very favorable and due to attention of details and quality of the product, in addition to this innovative mind set. Certainly a address that deserve to come a few times fully perceived what is can offer.
