The archipelago of Fernando de Noronha is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a delicate ecosystem. Visitors are restricted, but the lucky few are rewarded with unrivaled beaches and soothing warm waters filled with dolphins and sea turtles, making Noronha one of the world’s top diving destinations. On land, hike the ecological trails of Jardim Elizabeth, the Esmerelda Coast or Sancho Bay, which culminates in a climb up a steep set of stairs carved into the split of a cliff.

Excellent restaurant, very nice good, I are a shrimp risotto that was amazing. The desert were the churros. So crispy and delicious! One of the best restaurants for dinner on the island, very close to vila dos remédios.

The port. The boats. The view. The exuberance. The brazilian flavors. Culinary by the soulos of men and women. Chefsfrom several lands and roads. An encounter os tastes and aromas. Untouchable recipes. But forgive our sins. We have sauces, seasonings and secret touches. Inventive dishes. The combinations go even further. Gentleness and relaxation. Refinement and naturality. Sympathy and discretion. Bar and bistro. A place for those that have appetite for life. For divng in this sunny sea of dolphins and shipwrecks. Under a blue sky of free birds. Place for diving in deeply delicious gastronomy. Mergulhão. If you miss it dive again.
The food here is awesome! It's a pricey restaurant, but considering there's nothing cheap on the island, it's not that bad. The view is amazing, there are some resting places, you can spend the whole day if you want just enjoying. I went there twice! I will go back as many times as I go to Noronha!

On the main road, 200m away from the bus stop of TAMAR project (on the way to the port).
Expensive as everywhere else, but the food is excellent. We ate several times, and each time we had a very good meal.
The fish and shrimp dish is 150 R$ for 2.
Since everything is imported on the island (including shrimp - hence frozen), I advise to eat local fish (always fresh) when it is available.
They speak English, and have an English menu.
Locals come here to eat, hence it is a reference.
Finally, they make very good and large caipirinhas.

Eco Pousada Teju-Acu introducing the molecular gastronomy within the island giving focus to the Teju-Acu style in a creative process through the cultivation of special sprouts and edible flowers as well as having the smoking process applied to our dishes as well as the fish caught by clients and guests.
This is a beautiful restaurant in a lovely setting. The service was friendly and attentive, and they dealt well with our lack of Portuguese. The food was tasty, well-prepared and attractively served. This was our most expensive meal on the island, and our second favorite behind the more casual and moderately priced Xica de Silva.

Xica da Silva was our favorite restaurant in Fernando de Noronha. We went back almost every day for the caipirinha. The lime and passion fruit caipirinhas are the best. The food is outstanding and staff are very friendly.

Although it is a little pricey, It has a great romantic enviroment. A small restaurant with just a few tables overlooking the garden. A perfect place to go with someone you love or ask your girfriend to marry you.
The waiters are very nice and the food is excellent.

Varanda Restaurant is reference in the gastronomy of Fernando de Noronha and Brazil, it offers the best of contemporary brazilian cuisine. The house often receives celebrities from all over Brazil. The restaurant also does catering services for weddings and celebrations on the island, also in places like inns and boats, offering finger food or complete buffets in large services, and special menus for groups. Everything in the highest standard of excellence.
Outstanding Brazilian dinner here in Varanda...
Very pleasant atmosphere together with music;
We had entries, local fish as main plate, great recommendations by our full of attention waiter Asis, caipirinhas all together for a bit more than 100 USS.
Food plates are generous and you will feel more satisfied
If you wish to try local food in Fernando de Noronha, don't hesitate.
We have tried many restaurants here over the last days and this one is for sure one of the bests.

Food, fun and art. Go to O Pico to meet friends after the beach, have some wine, a drink or a cold beer. Go to O Pico to enjoy an amazingly surprising menu. Main courses, sandwiches, dessert after some diving and before sunset. Go to O Pico to listen good music. To warm up before the Forró party. To a movie under the stars. Go to O Pico to see the local art of Pernambuco and others exotic places in Brazil. To buy gifts, and mementos from Noronha, so you don't forget about it. Although, forgetting Noronha seems almost impossible.
The menu is standard and the hippie staff are nice. The place is sort of an art gallery with lithographs by a well-known Brazilian artist. The service was very weak -- we were the only table in the place one evening, and they forgot some items in our order, screwed up another order, and then refused to provide a chopped tomato to one member of our group who had an crying toddler asking for tomato. Really? You can't chop a tomato for us because it's off the menu?? We won't be back.

After complaining that they gave us a different tapioca from what we ordered the lady in the kitchen just scraped the filling from the tapioca served and replaced it with another filling.
Seriously, who does that? Couldn't she just prepare another tapioca? You could still taste the previous filling.
Worst costumer service I had in this island. Go to Tapioca da Babalu, a much better place where they respect the costumers.
